I am very disappointed in Savvy for reacting this way since I used to find her research into DEI NGOs in 2024 pretty good.

And the issue isn't that we can't differentiate between fiction and reality. The issue is that KCD series was supposed to respect the historical findings and treat with respect the source material, culture. But Vavra was the wolf in the sheep's clothing and rug-pulled a lot of buyers into playing a pozzed game, not that much different from woke slop except not having pronouns. Worse, it is a subversive game that mocks the culture, and I suspect it was done with spite/intentionally. While larping as a history respecting game.

Even if we separate reality from fiction, it doesn't feel alright that a mass produced game has includied the sodomizing a minor historical figure. Imagine doing that to a sultan like Soleiman, Baiazid, etc. It would be a lot of outrage for the subverison.

While I dislike lolicon (that is sexualized, explicit), they at least say it is an 18 yo and it isn't based on a real child photo. ANd it isnt included in mass produced games, only niche doujinshi, indie. Here Vavra doesn't even do the bare minimum that mangakas, japanese creators do. To also add, I have no issue with people playing KCD2. Passable, Ok games that some enjoy are very woke.
@FedPostalService I have no issue playing that. My issue becomes when you pretend the game is based, anti-woke, woke free when it isnt.
