My only complaint about Vara is that she projects this very "professional" image and that makes her really boring.
I'll take professional over "relatable" any day.
The less I know about her personal life and tastes, the better.
It's always when they make things personal that they start devolving into degeneracy and hedonism.
showing how david jaffe is far from the guy he once was and how his male feminist point of view is fake.
TBF, people change.
Chris Seavor (the guy who made Conker's Bad Fur Day) has said over and over he doesn't like his game anymore and would never make anything like it again. He understands why he made it and why he thought it was good, but not today.
Jaffe has said the same, that he no longer finds his edgier shit cool and awesome and likes other things.
However, Jaffe's problems are he has a tranny kid, which indicates bad parenting at best and child abuse at worst.
His male feminist POVs are born from contrarianism, which Jaffe loves to indulge in. It's why he was such an edgelord to begin with;
Sony said he could make a character that commits infanticide onscreen? Fine, we'll just make it so he replicates stigmata and is a genocidal maniac to boot. What's that, 00s conservatives annoy him? He'll make this freak a pastor just to piss them off more.
I theorize his male feminism is a rejection of his old fans' criticism of him alongside coping with a gay kid that is probably karma for being such a staunch homo hater in his youth.
His long-time coworker Scott Campbell never became as irrational and frustrated, probably because he was David's tard-wrangler and much more chill.
This is why we need to see all these people post their list of played games, hours played, etc. I do not believe even half of these people play through these games before forming their opinions.
This is just common sense though. It shouldn't take you more than a video or two to realize if these people are passionate about what they're saying or just bandwagoners/grifters saying whatever gets them views.
I don't need to see if someone has played Fallout 4 for 2000 hours to know if their critique of it being mediocre shit is merited.
It's a Bethesda game; mediocre is their strong suit.
The whole "Bethesda saw LGBT people before any other studio because you can have gay/lesbo relationships!" isn't because Todd Howard flew the fag flag in 2015, but rather because Bethesda is such a lazy dev studio they didn't even bother to program interactions with NPCs that fell in line with who they were as characters.
