This is the reason I was always against the "writing" argument being pushed by drinker, efap and fnt. This is what led to bitches like these make their way through.
Does woke and shit writing correlate 99% of the time? Yes, it does. But once in a while mofos will come up with a quality woke product and then you'll have to either out yourself as a hypocrite liar or consume that shit and praise it. They are so afraid of being called -ist that they pushed themselves into the corner and had no choice but to give a good review to slop like tlou tv show. And despite that lefties still make video essays about drinker being a hypocrite and all kinds of -ists. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

It's like bizarro world. "Centrists" such as Spell&Shield and Legendary Drops are praising Kingdom Come Deliverance while assblasting Avowed for the same sins that the former also suffer from.
Spell&Shield whined that Obsidian being bought ruined Avowed. Dude loves the other game and I guess Warhorse getting Blackrock money is okay. He now insists that everything is fine if it's optional and not in your face and it's FUN. 180 from how he attacked Dragon Age: The Veilguard that had optional trooning and chest scars - optional NOT OK here but OK in a game he likes.
Legendary Drops whined that Avowed's Chris Hansen should have shut up and be fired. At the same time whines that the other game's detractors are HATERS that MAKE TOO MUCH OF A FUSS and I guess Daniel Vavra's verbal diarrhea on social media is fine?
Guess I should thank Vavra for exposing the disingenuous grifters/idiots too stupid to be aware of their double standards (either option is not appealing) and helping me trim my YouTube subscription list...

I never liked ArchCast. There is always something off about him, like he's saying things that he thinks I want to hear instead of what he really means.
Plus, he has a soy face similar to Bellular's and I can't be arsed to tell the two bell ends apart. Don't watch Bellular either as that guy is a shill pretending to be on the fence and authoritivehile avoiding topics that would get him in hot water with the people giving him early access and whatever. Honestly should there even be a list? The people who were shilling KCD2 have lost any credibility to anyone sensible, shitting on Avowed immediately afterwards just proves they have no morals or character, in fact I'm not even surprised they're not trying to draw comparisons to "how better an RPG KCD2 is" simply because they don't even believe he shit they're peddling. They're just reading off a script.

Reminds me that the one non-shill I've seen who thinks the backlash is overblown, LegendofTotalWar, admits that he didn't even bother with the story and just spend dozens of hours robbing people and picking fights in that game. Is the game worth pirating/buying at 80% off if you avoid the story?

tried to play that way and there's some fun to be had, but there's a lot of restriction behind the main story, for example, you can't craft swords without the materials that are only sold on cities you can't enter until you advance to a certain point.
The jank justice system also makes it really annoying to try to quest as well. The game only "works" if you stay in your lane, despite claims to the contrary.
Haven't played in weeks, I still have it installed but I doubt I'll get back to it.

No, because there is barely anything to do outside of the story. This isn't a Bethesda sandbox, you don't have dozens of quests you can fuck off and do while you ignore the plot. The game IS just as janky and filled with invincible NPCs tho, so don't expect to do too much murdering outside random mobs.
Play the first game, I'm sorry pirate the first game so pedo Vavra won't get any of your money.
