The sad thing is that they can say this will little repercussions. We're well past the stage where if you shit on your fans they won't buy your stuff, now we've reached the point where they can shit in people's mouths and these same people will thank them and ask for more.

I'm bumping this because it would seem like a member on the Griftosphere that goes by Sungrand Studios just had a bit of what children these days would call a crashout.

Sungrand Studios is a game developer and is probably best known for his video on the character designs of Concord, which earned him shout outs from just about everyone dunking on the game ranging from Asmon Gold all the way to channels that aren't really political like big boss. This is the video if for whatever reason you haven't seen it:


He has spent the last year shitting on the industry trying to grow his audience, however problems arose because unlike other game devs on youtube he actually has published games, however they have apparently been Nintendo exclusive games.

So, ever since the Nintendo Switch 2 came out he has done absolutely nothing but lick the boots of Nintendo and shill for them, which has led to the audience that he fostered in the last year started shitting on him, calling him a shill and a hypocrite, which lead to him making a video about why he doesn't want to do negative content anymore which can basically be summarized as 'My friend is dying of cancer and I must keep speaking positively of Nintendo because of that' (?).


However that apparently didn't really do anything to quell people shitting on his Nintendo videos and it led to him posting three videos:
  • The first one is a video that I didn't see and apparently nobody made a copy of but reportedly was him throwing a tantrum and calling everyone that shitted on his Nintendo videos losers. He deleted this video and it may be forever lost to the aether. Edit: Nevermind, Another guy in a similar fashion to SmashJT reacted to the whole video, the TLDR of what he said is: If you are my audience and you don't agree with me you're a moron.
  • The second one is a video where he says 'I don't wanna do negativity or have negative people in my comments anymore, please don't unsubscribe' trying to gaslight people looking for the first video. This one is still up but I don't think it will be for long given the comments on it shitting on him.
  • The third one is a video of him thanking SmashJT, Hypnotic and Vara Dark, telling them to keep fighting (Basically telling them he is done with them and doesn't want to do anything with them anymore). He also deleted this video but SmashJT made a video reaction to it and it might now be the only preserved copy of it on YouTube, of course this being a grift video it was expanded from 2 minutes to 20.

So far he has lost 2k subscribers because of this, Harmful Opinions made a comment on what the first video was about but sadly I don't think he saved any of it.

Edit: I'm a fucking moron, Harmful Opinions does show like 2 minutes of the deleted video starting at 07m 50s


Edit 2: Apparently he has an A-log of sorts that made a full reaction video to the full tantrum, I've Added it to the first point, I'm keeping the harmful opinions video though, he has a segment on how he tough-guyed two people at a supermarket that I find funny.

I saw a bit of his tantrum video when I was on a break at work. The basic gist was his fans weren't smart enough but it's not their fault, it was his fault for thinking they would be smarter and he seemed incredibly ass blasted. I hadn't watched his videos for the past month or so, so I had no idea what was going on but according to a few comments there were two guys shitting on Nintendo in a previous video.

He's at it again. Now he's insisting he didn't like the videos that made his channel take off because he doesn't care about views. Despite the fact that he obviously kept making them for the views.
