Witness Protection Program Dox

The whole point is to protect the witness in question, so I could see there being some kind of consequence for it, but I can't say for sure.

We all know doxing its not illegal but what would happen if the farms (or any other website) ever doxes a protected witness and finds out their old identity, do you guys think there would be some kind of legal repercussion?
No big deal. Mitnick shows that you can get private access to the Fed databases though third party providers. The Fed as part of Witness Protection would change those database to reflect the new identity, so it wouldn't really be possible to get electronic records after the fact. Any Offline records the Fed would probably order destroyed or removed from being accessed by the public. Your only hope would be someone being incompetent, and then I would guess it's a Honeypot operation and not a real mistake, or someone non-Fed would have duplicated the Offline records before witness protection took place. I don't mention duplicating Online records before hand because after the Online records get changed you wouldn't be able to verify old digital records had ever been valid. Lack of validation would open you up to the threat of the records could be a deepfaked.
