I'm sticking on this forum anyway. The ls forum doesn't affect me a great deal. To me it's just relating to others who failed in dating, nothing more or nothing less. It doesn't reflect my morals being on there. Do I think rape is bad? Hell to the yes. Do I think chronic loneliness is bad? Yes it is. Is the dating game rigged? Yes, that's the one thing I've learned about being on the ls forum from reading their experiences. You may disagree with me on that all of you, but I hope it doesn't affect anything. I have nothing against all of you after reading this entire thread(not as of now, but since I've discovered it).

I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1,000 now.
 
A bit of a topic change...I've been listening to a radio show on the BBC radio this morning, Woman's Hour: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03xd3hg

This morning it was "Nadine Mortimer-Smith; Prostitution; Women of the World", it just finsihed airing, but once it becomes an archived episode it's worth the watch (Edit: It's available. Link works.). The beginning on the show had a really interesting debate on prostitution and had various guests on discuccing their experiences (an ex-prostitute and a girl who was kidnapped in London and taken to Ireland). Thought I'd drop this in the Love Shy thread as I think it's an interesting contrast to some of the "Prostitution should be legal, because I have needs!" that pop up on their forums. It covers both sides of the "legalizing vs penalizing" prostitution from the views of women that were involved in the trade in some way or another.

((If anyone feels this is out of place here, feel free to move it. I know it's not enturely Loveshy related, but I didn't think making a thread for it would be appropriate).

I have a solution for prostitution. Just whack it to internet porn like every other unattractive loser.

Seriously though, Vagabond, I'm glad to see at least one person decide not to listen to those guys. It's fun to go in and read the insanity once in a while, but ever since I stopped trolling the site myself, it seems it's much worse. And I trolled years ago.

I have never been "normal" but that place is pure evil, even to me. Even if the locals here don't like you as a user, this is far better than LoveShy. I would much rather be here, even though I don't get along with anybody here, either.

Internet porn doesn't really help. It's just bad because it lowers your self esteem and makes you feel like shit after a while. You do have a point, but the forum has settled down recently.

I suppose they had another purge of users that they suspect were too "normalfag" for them to keep? I don't know about the place getting better anytime soon, last I checked it was a smaller group of hardcore regulars. I suppose most people can only take the whole "I will never get laid and it's all women's fault" deal and all its variants so much.

LOL maybe you see a bit of yourself in me. Me, if I don't fit, I'll just force my way in. Don't care. Apart from that, I often upset the applecart, I guess a lot of people just don't like my opinions.

From my own experiences, I can either say the hypothesis about high status/perfect looks/etc. is b0rked, or I am an anomalous datapoint also. I dumped a lawyer who makes six figures working for the government, who is trim and muscular and just completed a 100-mile bike ride ("century" in their lingo), in order to go out with my boyfriend, who is handsome enough but has a non-beer gut (coming up on 20 years of sobriety!) and has an okay job, but not in any way a "status" one, unless the guy behind the control board producing the 7 pm newscast is considered glamorous now. We'll celebrate our five-year date-a-versary in May.

Mr. Horse, as I refer to the hairy gentleman snoring in my bed, has these characteristics I was strongly motivated to select for: kindness, empathy, altruism (e.g. digging out other people's cars this winter), everything that is too normie for the wizards because it involves human interaction, and I guess would be considered "beta" by the shys. He shares his "feels." He listens to mine. I guess this is all probably very weird if you are an evo-psych follower. I'm not.

I don't know if he would be considered "beta" by the shys or not, but it sounds like Mr. Horse gets off his ass and does things he's passionate about. That's a big attraction point, right?

They consider everybody who isn't getting pussy from perfect 10s (or nearly so) 24/7 to be "beta." It's kind of ironic that they accuse guys who have girlfriends that aren't bikini model types of "settling" or being "desperate" and "beta" when they themselves get none.

Well , you got the alpha before the beta, so our theories are still right. Your beauty vanish with age so you settle with a beta.

They you will cheat on him with lower grade alphas , then divorce and get his monies. It's the future predicted by hypergamy.

Oh ,and that the point we getting none, that why we call ourselves omegas.

The betas got a job and a life , they don't have the time to sperg about attraction theories like us.
