I use the Commonwealth spelling and use apostrophes and commas as thousands delimiters and decimals respectively because those seem to the best ways.

Pseudo-intellectualism ahoy! :pickle:
Don't they know that it actually makes them look even more like an idiotic, pretentious ass when they do that?

Anyone who feels the need to use flowery language towards others to feel (or act) superior or "smart" is often covering up how dumb they really are*.

*Note: Not everyone uses it to look smarter. Some just talk that way.

Maybe that's how he speaks in real life? If he really is learned in formal (British?) English, is it so impossible?

Doesn't Coleslaw also use flowery language to make himself smarter as well?

Then why wouldn't he have answered "because that's how I learned it," rather than "because it asserts my superiority"?

Flowery language sounds pretty gay. I bet he's gay.

When did he say that? Didn't he say that he just prefers to speak in the manner that he does?

He's not saying he prefers it. He's outright saying they're the best ways.
That's one example, at least.

Or maybe he's just a narcissistic douchebag.

Yeah, relative to other forms of spelling and punctuation, he prefers his. Am I missing something here?

So emotional manipulation is completely okay because of what a generation did? Also, they cannot support themselves because they don't want to. You mentioned working a shit job, because you had to. Then shouldn't wizards do that as well?

Yes, concerning manipulation, not coercion. To the willing there is no injury.

Working a job as I did was illegal because it violated the minimum wage law. It is one thing to think they should have to work such a job, it is another to act on such an opinion, especially because such vacancies are very quickly filled at $7,25/hr. If there were a free labour market, I would argue that they should have to find work, but because of this country's odious labour laws among other travesties that have wrecked the economy, I cannot fault someone for not finding work.

Yes, it was the "labour laws" that shit canned the economy. Not things like banks lending money to people who couldn't pay it back, giving money to countries who hate us and gave us nothing in return, the fact that America doesn't produce hardly anything anymore and outsources it's jobs thus taking away jobs from Americans, that we buy most of our oil from foreign countries these driving up prices and Also taking away American jobs, over regulation of pretty much everything, the President and his family taking extravagant vacations every few months, and of course people abusing the welfare system so they don't have to work. You know, like Wizards. No, no, no! It's all the labor laws fault!

He's not describing it as a preference.

If you want to attack arguments that I never made, I'll leave you to it.

It doesn't seem much different from saying 'I use brand x, since it seems to be the best brand'. As such, we'll have to agree to disagree

Your post seems to be different compared with your previous intelligent A+ posts. What's going on?

Same question could've been asked after his first post

Pssst, pseudo-intellectual wizard, I have something for you. You know there is a thing called "determination". Use it.
