You may joke about it but I see it becoming a disturbing social trend. "Wizards" are dangerously close to the hikkis of Japan, who do all the same things: not work, not date, etc.

We may not be calling them "wizards" but there certainly may be enough jobless, apathetic virgins to ridicule on TV one day in some way or another.

Well, they're also being persecuted because normie society doesn't want to let them sit in a room full of filth, play vidya, and jerk off to lolicon for their entire lives. They're being dealt a great injustice by being forced to work for money. And with that comes a whole host of other awful things, like basic socialization, simple responsibilites, and (horror of horrors!) regular hygiene.
