@WogglebugLover, I must confess to something. When the forum was down I had an unexpected attack of autism and retardation (probably caused by reading "Wacky Woggy and Fearless Frogmans Fantastic Folly") which resulted in something that you can find attached to this post.
Now, an important disclaimer: you absolutely shouldn't trust any file randomly updated to the site by some retard and you absolutely should take every possible precaution before running it: scan it, run it in a sandbox or on a virtual machine, do whatever you need to do to ensure your safety. The only thing that I can say is that I'm quite fond of this community and I wouldn't intentionally upload anything malicious here which would surely result in being permanently exiled.
Now, with this out of the way...
What the fuck is it?
It's a, let's say, virtual short story about Wogglebug. I tried to do something opposite to "Fantastic Folly" and replicate Cherie's interpretation of the characters and the world they live in as faithfully as possible.
No, seriously, what the fuck is it?
A short story with three branching paths leading to certain conclusion.
What does it do?
It tells a story, plays some music, plays some sounds, shows some pictures.
Is it very gay?
No! This proof of concept is completely devoid of homoeroticism and violence. One of the paths is a little meta and alludes to the rumors of a homosexual relationship between Wogglebug and Frogman but even there I tried to replicate Cherie's interpretation of our world, her made up world and people inhabiting them.
OK, what the fuck, don't you have anything better to do with your time?
What can I say? I love WoggleContent. I wanted to see how easy it will be to make. Everything: coming up with the story, doodling sprites, learning the engine and putting it all together took me - a man of average intelligence at best - a few hours. I estimate that it would take Cherie about a week to figure it all out. So, my hope was that she'll be inspired to make something similar,
publish it it for us to enjoy and to grow her Woggle empire.
