Women's 3rd attempt at arraignment for stabbing random toddler to death-she mugged for the camera, smiled and giggled

Woman stabs random toddler to death along with stabbing the toddler's mother with knives the woman stole : https://www.news5cleveland.com/news...th-olmsted-grocery-store-parking-lot-indicted

According to authorities, Ellis allegedly stole two knives from the Volunteers of America store and then walked next door to Giant Eagle, in the 27000 block of Lorain Road, where she spotted a 38-year-old woman pushing a child in a cart.
Authorities say Ellis followed the mother and her son, Julian Wood, into the parking lot and then stabbed the child while he was in a grocery cart. When the mother tried to pull the boy out of the cart during the attack, Ellis stabbed her as well.

Video of her court arraignment (when they finally got her there. Third time's the charm apparently) is actually pretty disturbing. She acts like she's on America's Next Top Model instead of facing murder charges.

Also, as an aside, is that breasts or belly?

I am absolutely pro-death penalty, especially when it comes to heinous crimes against children. People like this and pedophiles cannot be rehabilitated. They have nothing of value to offer society any longer, and they are an extreme liability to the public at large. Why waste the taxpayers money giving them three hots, a cot, and medical care for the rest of their life by locking them up? It's quicker and cheaper to just execute them and save the world a problem.
In our country the DP is actually more expensive than locking s.o up for life lol

You see I am iffy with the Death Penalty, and While I think it should be an option it should be something that is incredibly high standard of guilt to be considered applicable, like it has to be on camera has to be unrepentant has to be physically an scientifically provably that person who did the crime without ANY possible legal doubt - the only reason I am like this is while I do recognise that there are crimes that are so abhorrent that the only crime should be death I do belive that giving the power of the state to take a life should be incredibly well policed an governed, not just because mistakes happen but because people happen an they are fallible.
By it's very definition, the state is whoever holds the monopoly on violence. The only reason a state wouldn't use that violence on it's own people is possible revolt from the populace, so most states either make it clear who is in charge (Mexican cartel), or they try to underplay their use of violence by only using it against undesirables. Frankly stabbing a toddler to death makes someone pretty undesirable to me

The smirks are something else

I honestly want to know what's going on inside her head every single picture of her she looks insane, either this is some form of genuine psychotic break or they have fell through more cracks in the system that Chris Chan, and needed help or more likely containment long before this happened.
She looks....simpleminded; I'm not attempting to downplay the horrific nature of what she did, but I bet she's just about able to comprehend that she did something big that made a lot of people pay attention to her, and that's it.

I wonder what examining her brain would reveal...

I am legitimately fucking mortified that someone can be so fucking idiotic or mentally deranged that they can be like that in a court of law on that kind of charge....

Richard Ramirez comes to mind. Only this prehistoric cetacean won't have anyone throwing themselves at her.

And when you jail them for life they're useless and nothing but a drain on tax dollars so...
From a practical standpoint, the idea of walking her down to the basement and shooting her in the brain stem with a .380 makes a lot of sense. Nobody can debate that destroying the part of the brain regulates organ function is ‘cruel and unusual’ if you’re dead before you hit the floor.

We don’t need to waste any more public resources with a flurry of appeals to stall the inevitable and tie up the courts as a fuck you on the way out. That smirk posted previously said it all, just kill her quickly and get it over with.

Some people are beyond any hope of rehabilitation or redemption. Removing them from society, permanently, is the only practical solution. We might as well use the most cost efficient to do so.
