Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

I just realized now that what DSP means by factual corroborated evidence is actually just the person saying things, not people connecting dots and finding evidence.

If Phil were a detective he'd probably let the murderer go free even if all the evidence pointed to him being the murderer just because the murderer doesn't say he did it.

Assuming he didn't blow his own head off at the first rangeday at the academy, survived being a patrollman (again without blowing his own head off, or being shot by his own side), yes he would very much be that detective. If a private detective I'm thinking Hergout Pigrot

No he wouldn't.

Example: accusing fellow Supercard player (Jonathan) of being either a cheater/someone else in order to exploit the game, despite Jonathan's defense. The whole story is pretty ironic for DSP given the similarities on certain things, but already has been explained in the Champions thread.

He doesn't put trust in other people's words to that degree, he just hopes that his own words are taken at face value.

He keeps saying "decompression" or "decompressing" when I think he means "debriefing", to describe a discussion taking place after the event to recap it.

Also, he is constantly prompting his audience with "correct?" every ten seconds now.

If he's referring to a venting session after the Side Scrollers podcast, then he's using "decompression" correctly.

Phil misused the parable about casting the stone in his Feasting with the King when talking about people making fun of him for being a literal nobody for 15 years. He says this in reference to people making fun of him when they might have problems of their own.

"Let ye who is without sin cast the first stone."

I'm sure most Kiwis have some basic knowledge about this parable, but Jesus stops a bunch of villagers stoning a whore because she's a sinful adulterer by asking if any of them have not sinned, and should be stoned as well. The whole point of the parable is to reflect on your own actions and concious.

CatholicSydePhil showing his authentic beliefs once again.

Honestly its worse than that for a number of reasons. Hes used it in the past in such a way that implies that if you are of a higher station/status/or just generally "better" than someone else it's okay which completely misses the point of the parable.

Its also massively hypocritical (which is very out of character for Phil) when every other word out of his mouth is targeted towards detractors, other content creators, or anyone who has existed near him at some point in his life. But it's justified here because Phil's the special case where he can cast as many stones as he wants at whomever he wants because its fine to strike back at someone else.

Funny how his Catholic values he was raised with exclude turning the other cheek, and only extend to the ones where its a convenient shield.

Fortuitous

Happening by chance or accident.

Phil used in in his recent REmake4 stream in a way that makes it seem like he thinks it is a synonym of Fortunate.
He will never pass up the opportunity to misuse a word with more syllables in a laughable attempt to sound more erudite.

Self Popularity (n.) - A morally bankrupt fondness from other people achieved by expanding one's own clout.

This is totally different from what Phil tries to do on a regular basis because fuck you! No really, Fuck you, you're outta here; incredibly disrespectful for you to come into my post with a nasty attitude like that! Tuh-Huh, morahn.

never means not ever
except to phil, where it means once in a while
