Mass-uh-jism?
Yeah, the context is that one of his viewers was talking about PvP in Elden Ring. He asked why anyone would play the PvP and the user responded with "masochism". That, somehow being a word I guess he's never heard out loud, devolved into "moss-uh-chizz-um" since he wanted to sound fancy. Sorry, I should've included that context.

I think it might be interesting to figure what words or phrases Phil able to not mangle when saying them or understand what he is saying, that would more than likely not be a large amount either way

This was from a WPIG episode about DSP's Employment history part two six months ago and he LET slip that he was pressured into marrying soulmaid "We were pressured a bit to do it." So, he ORIGINALLY had no plans on marrying soulmaid, he was pressured into marrying her!

You can hear Phil mention he was pressured into marrying Khat at 2:14:18

And this gem! "The real reason I went to Connecticut was I knew that was going to be the last time I was going to see one of them in person."

Prepare to die soon...well, one of them!

As an aside, holy shit is this bitch's babbling over the clip insufferable to sit through.

Unsurprisingly, he doesn't know what the fuck "felt" means, how does using it make any sense in this sentence? I also bet cash money that he doesn't even know the origin of the verb, which was ironically enough coined by another Phil, the poker player Phil Laak.

He misuses the term "option select" in Street Fighter. He thinks it's when a move has different properties depending on what you input (ie, Cammys Hooligan Combination which can become a command throw, an overhead attack, or a slide attack). It's actually an advance tactic where in certain situations you input a specific set of inputs, and depending on what your opponent does, the most beneficial input will take priority and be performed. It's far beyond Phils understanding of fighting games.

To put it more precisely, the example of Cammy's hooligan is when a move has a built-in mixup and depending on what you input first is what you'll get. An option select is when you input two or more commands before they're able to be performed or at the same time and the game chooses the most beneficial input for the player who performs it every single time. The easiest example is fuzzy guard which, depending on the game, either allows you to block both highs and lows at the same time or allows you to block mids and duck under throws at the same time. For example in Virtua Fighter when you're at a slight disadvantage after having your move blocked you input the forward crouching dash and then press guard, so your character ends up ducking slightly which goes under grabs but makes them able to guard against a mid as well.
