Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

(Double post, but it's a new word....and happened about an hour later. Hope this is okay)
"Ni hao! Have you eaten yet?" Says a vendor NPC.
"Oi! You want some food?" D$P translates
D$P has said that he played WoW for years, but doesn't know Ni hao means 'Hello'...
Perhaps I am misinformed, but I've never heard anyone use 'Oi!' as 'Hello.'

I stand corrected.
Additionaly, yes, he's not played in years and years and years, but the gold farmers on WoW from ...well...forever made Ni hao a meme before there were even memes and I 've never even played WoW, but knew about it from Wow/Nyhm* vids on YT and the phrase being hurled about referring to gold sellers on Aion, the 1st MMO I did play.

*Note for D$P on what it means for a vid to be viral or even popular. D$P vid after 10 yrs "o0oo 50k views in 2019".

I don't really understand when he says things along the lines of "When my bill clears," "When these bills clear," etc.

I've heard of a check clearing. Like, I'm not taking any money out of my checking account until this check clears. I suppose he means that when the check he sends to his various institutions clears and the money is taken from his account. If he sends out physical checks I guess it makes sense for him to think of it this way and that it takes him a full night to pay the multitude of bills he has. The rub is he's got to buy stamps for these bills and go to a mailbox which sounds like more work than he's willing to do, while at the same time, doing it that way would give him 2-3 more days possibly to scrounge up money to put in his account while the checks are in transit.

Likely, he means when the bill comes due, or when his online auto-pay stuff activates, but there are much simpler ways to say that then I have bills clearing. To be honest if he were sending physical checks and wanted to buy time he could just mail his parents his checkbook, make them signatories on his account, e-mail them where and to whom to send checks to and for what amount, and as long as they are postmarked on the right day he'd buy himself probably a full business week (adult week.)

In a legislative sense bills clear various stages to eventually become a law. Financially speaking though, the only similar use of the phrase I could find was from a Kenyan news segment, but if you listen they say the patient failed to clear the bill, not that the bill failed to be cleared or something to that effect. In the former there is a debt and it needs to be cleared by the debtor. In DSP Land, the bill is the one doing the clearing. The more I think about it the less sense it makes as to what precisely is meant by the phrase and where the fuck it could have come from.

I just read an article where 9 out of 10 Allergists recommended violently snorting once a minute as the 'penultimate' method for keeping your nasal passages allergen free, especially when it comes to the management of PND syndrome. The ultimate method you ask? Not fucking doing that ever and literally doing anything else, such as: taking allergy medication, irrigating your nasal passages with a device, increasing your environmental allergen filtering systems or upgrading to more effective ones, cleaning and dusting your environment you gross fucking pig, or blow your fucking nose like an adult instead of doing this autistic version of snuffling like a toddler who's mommy won't pay attention to him.

but eh, maybe it's just me, but i start the week on the 1st (a friday) instead of having the first two days as the end of the last week of february (in this case, week 3 starts on the 15th)
i guess phil keeps track of the weeks through the whole year instead of cutting them up into months

I suppose I’ll give him a pass until he says in the 6th week then I’m lighting my torch and sharpening the pitch fork. I still thinks it’s on the exceptional side to call this weekend the 1st week of March, then again maybe I’m being exceptional.

He's being making this correlation for several years now. He has, however, proven that he can indeed refrain from snorting when knowingly being watched by others he regards as worthy ( ie: 'sponsored' streams and the failed Convention stream) and while Khet has been beside him on the loveseat.

This is so weird considering he plays fighting games. This would also explain why he is so bad at some games with input buffering. He doesn't understand exactly what it is and so when he is playing a beat em up or something that has it he is confused when he mashes buttons and then tries to block in the middle of a string but the character is still doing attacks. Souls games do a lot of input buffering, especially with rolls. I can see why Phil would mistake buffering for delay but he should know the difference from playing fighting games.

With little to no info given/shown, one is reduced to micro-analyzing what few pictures/videos that exist. This said, I will admit to micro analyzing pics/vids pre-Khet to gleam such nuggests as the truth of his daily meal plan with eaten meals being checked off as well as 'business info and chores ( TAKE OUT THE TRASH!/TAKE IN CANS! on this obviously an Important things to do part of a weekly dry erase board" Out of focus in this shot, but Sat. says Out to Eat as if without the reminder, the household might stay in and ...go hungry that night.

When D$P says his work life enveloped his home life, one has but to look here and see his 'business' schedule posted above his meal plan. Possibly an odd observation, but then again who feels a need to schedule Hot Dogs as a meal and then check them off as a task complete?

he probably has to do that because too many times he made fridge runs and ruined his meals for later in the week
