Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

exceptional individual its a medical condition not a slur

🤓 The condition is used as a slur, it's not an either/or sorta thing (though calling someone a "Mongoloid" may be regional). It's like "Water head". The condition Hydrocephalus literally means "water head". The name of the condition then became used as a put down.

(Also, please don't insult other forum users 😶)

Let's look at the medical conditions Phil makes fun of.

Idiot- It was formerly a technical term in legal and psychiatric contexts for some kinds of profound intellectual disability where the mental age is two years or less, and the person cannot guard himself or herself against common physical dangers. The term was gradually replaced by the term profound mental retardation

Moron-Moron is a term once used in psychology and psychiatry to denote mild intellectual disability. The term was closely tied with the American eugenics movement.

D$P couldn't go to the pumpkin patch on his day off because it started raining and the pumpkin patch would have turned into "a bog". He stated that "we'll try again next week, but we don't know. Next week it looks like we already to have multiple appointments on our day off."
Appointment: Something one plans to do.

At one point in the big $20 rant, he said something about how whenever he makes a mistake, detractors think they have "open season" to attack him. I guess he lacked the advanced vocabulary to say "carte blanche"

So where did he end up spending his rainy day fund?

I'm not sure the technically correct pronunciation, at least from where I'm from it's pronounced with the "q/kee-yu" sound in the beginning. The way DSP says it he has a more of a "koo" emphasis in the beginning like he's trying to add unnecessary emphasis to the letter "u" or say the word cuckoo (koo-koo). This could be more of an east coast dialect thing that it is a DSPism but I found it somewhat amusing, especially since he was responding to a question about how he has sex with Khet.
