France winning the World Cup makes the USA's 1-1 draw against them with a very inexperienced squad back in June look strangely good right now.

Anyway, I look forward to the insanity in Qatar in 4 years. I think it will be even more batshit crazy than this one. Also everyone should want the USA to win it simply for the massive amounts of salt we'd see. :) (mainly from Mexico)

I'd be both impressed and shocked if any big (let's say the top Euro and South American) Federations decided to boycott it. Qatar is a really shitty place to have a WC at and I've already seen talks of how it's very likely the quality will be absolutely shit in 2022 because top clubs will absolutely not want their best players to get injured there and risk missing a season.

You're surprised that Croatia is smarter than France (in general)? Yeah - at least one nation knows how to party with actual common sense here. As a result, now I'm sad France won even more than I thought I would be - such a shit-hole nation, Frogetty-froggy-land continues to be in my eyes.

No, not really. I know an awful lot of Croatians and they're proudly showing off the celebrations on their timelines :)
