That was the original trailer for their slop that got taken down, this will be a new one, where they show you the gameplay and how much worse the lighting clashes with the artstyle.

oh boy I can't wait for WoD Classic and the bullshit they will try to pull to keep people playing.

The biggest problem with WoD was production problems, population will dip but I'm mildly optimistic that the devs can just speed run out the 2.5 tiers of content in like 6 months and that alone will make it much more palatable. But WoD will come out about the same time as the Classic+ they've been hinting at and that alone might kill it.

I decided to try turtle wow again and was very pleasantly surprised by the new high elf starting zone. Last time I played it was some weird grafted on area in aratho highlands iirc, and now it's a true additional zone that looks quite good. As a serial reroller and 1-10 zone enthusiast, it is downright magical to see something new and not shitty for the first time in around 15 years

You can always fire up solo server with bots. Get your fix for the year and move on.

WoD was a really good expansion with overly long patches. Out of any period of the game I see it as benefiting the most from the classic treatment.

Sounds like you didn't experience the original high elf "starter" zone in Loch Modan that ended with you kidnapping a high elf child and turning her into a companion pet. This actually happened before they got their own zone, and the dev who made those original quests was fired.
I haven't tried the goblin area, they got one too, but everyone says it's really bad.

I played the Goblin starting area and yeah, its probably the worst staring zone i have ever played. It just looks so ugly and barren. God help you if you playing a hunter since one of the mandatory pets you need to tame for the hunter quest, can knock you out of your taming pet spell.
