I remember getting Shadowlands when it was on sale (I was following Shadowlands's trainweck through youtube videos, websites , threads like these and stories told by people that kept playing WoW, prior to that ).
Despite everything, I wanted to give it a shot to see is the state of it that bad. I was too

.
I played briefly through the intro of it, where I was shown what would be the expac's hub world and bit of the Kyrian area. And through my first hour or so, the only thing I said about it was
"Wow, the art direction/artwork for this expansion pack is pretty" which was extremely out of character for me, because I never said something like that ever about WoW.
The art direction in WoW is nice but it wasn't the primary thing I'd focus when I would play the previous expansions, I was focused on gameplay, quests and story first.
So when that was the first thing I said about this new expansion pack, I instantly knew this isn't
good at all. An hour later or so, I tapped out, deleted the game and battle.net launcher,
because I knew there's no point in coping and felt my time is being disrespected/wasted by Blizzard.
This might come of as spergy but, I particularly felt frustrated because even if the art direction for that expansion pack was nice, it was completely wasted and didn't matter.
Because according to everything that exists in Shadowlands, it's fake, meaningless and artificial. So why bother with caring about the side characters, their quests and world.
when the """reveal""""" is big pile of nihilistic bullshit?
All because, Danuser wanted to pat his own back by adding whatever pop culture MCU goyslop was trendy in these past two years with similar
themes, so consoomer poisoned nu-WoW fans can clap like seals if they recognize a reference to their favorite media in the game they're playing, at the cost of raping WoW lore
again and
flipping off people who been fans ever since WC3.
