So much to hate about this particular page.
1- Anyone else hate the sheer laziness of the writing with the "1." "2." crap?
2- I can't help but remember when Chris would deny that Rosechu and Amy Rose were the exact same characters by pointing out miniscule things and completely missing the point.
3- Chris's joke is wretched.

Wait a second... that's the last page of the issue, too. How does that work? There's no story resolution there. If it's supposed to be a cliffhanger, it's an awful one.

Chris was drawing more and more influence from anime/manga this time and characters saying that is actually something you see a lot. It's a weird but pervasive translation and Chris ripped it off without realizing that English was his first language and he could do something much better with it.

Actually, in terms of writing, I think this is one of the better pages. One of the few that has a touch of emotional tension. I mean in any other comic this would be pretty shoddy and gratuitous, but in Sonichu where NONE of the main characters die or face real conflict, this is actually somewhat engaging. Bill gets a little characterization too, which isn't bad.
