Would keeping a personal diary be linked to better political intelligence?

I'm just musing that there are a lot of people who if they had been keeping a personal diary or journal that that they add their weekly musings and observations, would see that they regularly do a 180 on some opinions that they were violently supporting.

I think a lot of individuals who are conditioned to modern online political discourse have had their brains so fried by the process of externalizing every single one of their thoughts to other people that they wouldn't be able to keep a personal diary.

If they were to make themselves, they'd probably be more likely to realize how fucking dumb what they're doing is and stop obsessing over politics in general. That might be an effective treatment for compulsive political spergery.

Political intelligence is an oxymoron.
And political intelligence
Two words combined that can't make sense

Possibly I've seen too much
Hangar 18 I know too much

Journaling certainly helps to organize ones thoughts about the world around them. However I think experiences, the people one engage with, the media they consume and general outside influences have much more impact on changing ones opinions about something.

It's more closely linked with being a slut for cock because diaries are for fags.

I'd think journals by their concept alone would lead to people reflecting on and contemplating about things more, so maybe?

No. If you need to write it down that Biden didn't bring peace to Israel, it won't help you suddenly be smart.

Keeping a notebook about which restaurant is the best or writing down the name and phone of the best electrician isn't a bad idea, but that's it.

A memory is very valuable to political intelligence, so to that degree yes.
Having your secrets easily obtained is against political expedience though.

Aint people posting online daily blogs the same thing? The only people ive seen have journals are either mass shooters or ppl online too much and did something else fucked up

People need to stay busy. If you got free time to write your musings, you got 2 much time.

considering that a lot of annoying people who are obsessed with politics with keep digging their heels in the ground like stubborn assholes when people prevent them with screenshots of things they said, looking at previous writings on paper probably wouldn't make an impact either.
