Would Making KF Reading Videos be Acceptable 🤔

So I’m a nobody that makes occasional lolcow content and this site reminds me much of the olden internet. Good times when you could call someone a faggot and not be censored or yeeted.
While asking for permission seems inherently cringe I’ve also noticed there’s an etiquette to how things work on KF so I’m being overly cautious, wouldn’t want to be rude, especially being new and all.
My main question is, which articles do you guys think would be the best received by other kiwis and what would be the best way to approach authors on if they want credit or to be not mentioned. Kinda nervous. 1st thread I’ve made on here.

Do you think they come after it because of the lack of censorship or is it that some cows(like keffals) are definitely entrenched with those MsM hacks, they certainly came out the woodwork for her writing many bs articles about her “stalkers”
Some combination thereof. Truth and mockery are the bane of tyrants and narcissists. They go berserk when they cannot control the narrative.

If we were given a fair shake by the MSM, they'd realize that cowtipping is strictly forbidden here, and that we're little more than the Internet's Statler and Waldorf.

Would be nice to get some sort of legislation (in the US) to get more unbiased media. It’s pretty absurd how much they try to get away with
i personally don't care if you use my threads as long as I get a mentioned
That’s awesome to know, I’ll probably start with one of yours then, I’ve seen quite a few of yours that are very good 👌
Do you want to be mentioned by the screen name on here I assume?

A simple "One of the sources I used is the KiwiFarms thread made by Osama Bin Laden" is fine enough, or some variation of it.

If someone posts something on the internet publicly, then I think they should expect what they wrote to be connected to the username under which it was posted. If someone doesn't want to be mentioned in connection to what they wrote, then they use a pseudonym when creating an account.

I think you have a good heart for wanting to ask permission before mentioning people, but that's sort of foreign to the culture of Kiwi Farms, where users have the mentality of "This lolcow publicly shared this information of his own accord, therefore it's free game to talk about."

If it were me, I'd just quote people without asking first, and maybe I'd let them know afterwards, "Hey, by the way, I mentioned you in this video." But I'm probably just not as considerate as you are.

Well I try to be unbiased in the lolcow videos I make(isn’t always successful, pretty sure it was obvious I didn’t like Jupiter) but at the same time if a cow is a predator they get no quarter from me. And I normally do just go ahead publicly but I noticed there were rules on here and just wanted to be sure I didn’t break any.

Devil's Advocate: Our reputation is sullied, and gives the cows a convenient excuse. "That's nawt troo, it's a lie from the transphobic gangstalker site!"

The cows and their behavior should be the substance of discussion, not the forum itself. The Farms serves as a repository for primary sources. I only take issue with us being used without credit in cases of blatant plagiarism, i.e. a youtuber reads an OP verbatim and claims it as their own.

Come to think of it, Keffals and LFJ would've probably faced some real consequences if more voices unaffiliated with KF had talked about their crimes.

We're in this for laughs, not internet clout or glory. We are but humble archivists and historians. We should bring light while working in the shadows.

I, for one, don't mind if normies join the laughter without ever knowing we exist. We don't claim a monopoly on making fun of stupid people. I also don't mind cowtubers like Turkey Tom or Smokey making videos that summarize a cow I'm too lazy to read about.
I disagree. The farms are just preserving information. Lying down and "accepting" to be called the "literally hitler 5.0" of the Internet for eternity (or however long this shitheap that we call capital I Internet will remain) is just allowing those smearmerchants to continue what they will do regardless.
And they will likely call you lying regardless of if you say you found the archive on the farms or not.
I believe being more insistent about the farms just being a fucking gossip forum that archives happenings, which it objectively is, instead of accepting it being treated as the breeding grounds for whatever -ist and -ism that is en vogue right now, would be better for people to get information about vermin like Dick Long Gone and the fartthrone dominatrix Lucas, etc. because then they at least have heard of a place that may have something for them to read up on if they require it.

On the point of clout: I just simply prefer to have a reference to the source of discussed information directly at hand in case I want to read further on it or the like. Any archivist worth their salt should keep a list of where things came from as I see it, simple as that.
