It's always to stifle the inevitable influx of absolute retards coming by to spill all their pocket spaghetti whenever something big happens. It'll just be hundreds of new users subtracting from the already incredibly low IQ discussions that take place around these issues. Even the few that got through before registration closed are stinking the place up pretty bad.

I agree completely. Ever since reddit and Twitter suspended me this has pretty much been the only place I'd browse. I don't want my fellow outcasts to have nowhere else to go.
