Would Ron Desantis be a decent 2024 candidate?

Zion Ron fanboys were in denial that he was a zionist in a A&H thread even after I posted this info.

“Florida is the most Israel-friendly state in the country and we will not stand for discrimination against the Israeli people of any kind,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “By calling for increased security for our Jewish Day Schools, punishing companies that participate in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and taking my first trade mission to Israel, the Israeli People can be assured that they have no greater friend than Florida. BDS is nothing more than a cloak for anti-Semitism, and as long as I’m Governor, BDS will be DOA. I cannot wait to strengthen the already unwavering bond between Florida and the great state of Israel.”

“I think I can pledge this very credibly: As soon as I take the oath of office to be the next governor that very day we will have the most pro-Israel governor in America here in Florida,” DeSantis said.
- Longstanding support for the relocation of the U.S. embassy to Israel to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. “Of all the professional things that I’ve done, being there for that embassy opening was one of the best. It was awesome.”
- His first overseas trip as governor would be to Israel.
-- His wife Casey brought back water from the Sea of Galilee during one of their trips to Israel. When their first child was born, they used the water from Israel to baptize her. “It was very, very special to us.”
-- Anyone he appoints to boards of state colleges and universities must be committed to combatting anti-Semitism on campuses.
“BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement) nothing more than warmed over anti-Semitism,” he said. “And I would never seek, nor accept support from any group political or otherwise that supports boycotting Israel.”

Gov. DeSantis: ‘We got to go on offense against anti-Semitism’

Gov. Ron DeSantis, who traveled to Jerusalem in 2019 to sign a bill that made religion a protected class in the state’s education system, also attended virtually.

“I’m very pro-Israel. I have great relationships over there,” DeSantis said.
DeSantis said he thinks policymakers should create policies that discourage anti-Semitism.
“I think if you look back 20 years ago, anti-Semitism is worse today than it was, which is really incredible that we would be seeing that. And I think the best way to do it from a position in elected office is we got to go on offense against anti-Semitism,” DeSantis said.
The Florida Legislature, this past Session, put millions toward security at Jewish institutions and schools.

Governor Ron DeSantis Signs Anti-Semitism Protections Bill CS/CS/HB 741

CS/CS/HB 741 adds religion as a protected class with regard to discrimination against students and employees in Florida’s K-20 public education system. I wish politicians would be for human rights in general. Not just for one specific demographic. What about the countrymen in your actual country? It's pandering at its finest.
