Would You Bend To Rising Extremism?

That's a good question. I guess it would depend on what the ideology is. If, for example, it was a completely totalitarian society like Orwell's "1984" I don't think I COULD fake it, even if I tried. I would eventually say or do something that would put me on the powers that be's bad side.

I mean, we all say we want to fight for our freedom and things like that, but it's all well and good to say that behind a computer screen. but the real life threat of death is the ultimate lie-detector test when it comes to that. On that note, I would really be interested to know, if such a thing ever happened, how many of the gun-toting "freedom fighters" that are mainly found in the deep south would actually fall in line like everyone else.

So to be honest, I don't know if I would fight the good fight. Because the thing is, you have to be willing to accept in that kind of instance, even if your side wins back freedom, you probably won't live to see it.

If it was a communist/Muslim/anarchist regime, fuck that shit, I'm fighting back tooth and nail until the end, whether it'll be in a blaze of glory or marching those fuckers to a firing squad.

But a fascist regime, no. I can't resist that. How can I resist against myself?

Fascist? If I didn't get killed right off the bat in the initial rioting, as I'm someone they'd hate one way or another,I'd revolt in simple quiet ways to keep sane and from killing myself.

Communist take over?
They'd probably ignore me until I open my mouth.

If the state became rising in fascism, or communism I would speak out against it as hard as I could. I would drop any friends that submit to it, and keep the ones that don't.

I would probably try to move away, but if I couldn't for some reason, and it was a nazi or extreme communist society I would TBH join a uh "resistance" cell.

Honestly fighting to the death doesn't sound that bad.
