I'm not giving up my cats. We'd have to live separately. I would also never date someone who hates animals. There's something seriously wrong with people like that.

If they were allergic and just couldn’t help it, I’d try to find ways to make it work. I would never date someone that hates dogs or cats though.
I think ultimately I wouldn’t. My cat is my buddy, and I wouldn’t give him up for someone I’m just starting to date and have no idea if I’m even going to be interested/attracted enough to consider a long term relationship with. My cat is my friend and I couldn’t live with myself getting rid of him that flippantly
