Knowing that he has a history of stealing from his parents, no I would not trust him enough to live with him

For me, I'd say yes. He'd be pretty quiet, as long as he kept his vidya down which I suppose he does, being austistic I don't see him as taking to the surround sound experience. His "odor" would be bearable for me, I'm pretty tolerant of smells. And if I ever had company or a GF over, he'd either hide away in his room or mumble some polite greeting before shuffling off to Mickey Ds.

No, absolutely not. I'm not the cleanest guy in the world but I'm quite obsessive about having clean and tidy surroundings. I can't relax in a mess. My last flatshare there was 5 of us and it worked fine because we all respected each other enough to tidy up after ourselves. Chris doesn't even respect himself enough to make it to the toilet so sharing a house would be an endless battle of trying to get him to pull his (considerable) weight and being told "I'm working on it". Bring a girl back and he's there and it's doubtful you'd see her again (he'd be drooling all over her I reckon).
 
Anyone who would answer yes to this question- please save us time and start your own Lolcow thread.
