I reckon a lot of westerners here would perish the thought of parting with their citizenship. But hypothetically, if you could sell your citizenship to the highest bidder, preferably some third or second-worlder with a net worth in six or seven figures, you could probably make a sizable fortune doing so. This would be especially appealing for poor people, with the caveat that you would not be able to regain and sell the same citizenship again.
I don't really have a good passport on me, and I can't imagine anyone buying mine other than the minority of travelers obsessed with exploring my country, and they don't have much money to begin with, comparatively speaking. But if I could choose a different passport I'd go with Japan. They can go to most countries in the world and their passport doesn't show one's place of birth.
