I don't recall how he responding to people telling him that an inheritance won't go far unless he has really rich parents.

I'm not going to cap this whole thread because everyone pumps out a novels worth of TL;DR but the gist here is that Aspie1 (who's becoming one of my favorite posters) hates his theoretical wife because she will futureabuse him. Like Wow! How many Aspies actually hate WP? I'm an aspie myself and I hate the forum. Even my brother who is an aspie who uses autism as an excuse to say he can't work in social places like a pub, left the forum and he was actually a moderator.
Most of AspieVillage (UK Meet Up group for Aspies) hate the forum too.

Maybe this is why I hardly go on any forums to this day, too many trolls, wars or spergs.

I understand that that isn't what you want to do, but if it's really just about sex and it's a life-or-death type of matter, you do what you gotta do. I've never gone that direction myself, but I can't imagine it's very complicated if you live in or are within reachable proximity to any kind of urban-ish area.

Of course these people, in a forum full of other aspies, let this go completely to their heads and assume that they're superior while ignoring all the downsides of being on the spectrum.

The thing is that a lot of sperglords, at least the ones on that shithole, don't really use their "intelligence" at all once they're out of schooling. The only time it really comes up is if they feel like bragging. So any sort of knowledge they have ossifies, decays, and eventually crumbles.

Brings me to a thing I've felt for a while when it comes to intelligence; it merely determines how fast and how much you as a person can process at once. You can have an IQ of 160 and be completely useless, incompetent, and stupid looking as these wannabe MENSA members are. Conversely, you could be like Forrest Gump; be slow on the uptake and have a hard time dealing with multiple factors, but through dedication, support, and luck, become very accomplished and knowledgeable in spite of it.

I don't think that's true. There's a stereotype that people with Aspergers' had higher IQs but I think that's really just an artifact of historical diagnoses. Almost all the people retroactively diagnosed with Aspergers' like Andy Warhol or Alan Turing were of high intelligence, but this is a fairly simple confirmation bias - nobody is interested in diagnosing whether some supermarket cashier from the 1940s had Aspergers', and even if they did, there would be little recorded information to work with. This has cemented the image of the "Autistic genius" in the popular imagination, and it's an image that a lot of people who have spectrum disorders pick up on for fairly obvious reasons.

Not that there aren't plenty of intelligent people who are on the spectrum, but there's no real correlation, positive or negative, between intelligence and autism. There is a correlation between autism and behaviours that may make somebody appear intelligent (verbosity, interest in maths*), but that's pretty superficial.

*I guess for completeness' sake I should probably concede that people with autism spectrum conditions are slightly more likely to be good at maths than people without, but that's not due to some innate facility for it, it's just that people with autism are often drawn to the subject which motivates them to read about it, study it, and basically learn it the same way somebody without autism would. Again, some autistic people do have a natural facility for maths, but they are no more likely to than neurotypicals.
