Wuhan Coronavirus / COVID-19 Thread 2: Booster Shot - Resume all Corona sperging here.

coming up on year 3. US death count by quarter or year hasn't exceeded that of 2019 despite 2/3rds of the US pop apparently taking the vax and 25% taking 4 shots or more.
Rasmussen has just come out with a poll that shows that 24% of Americans know someone who died due to the vaccine.

You'd think even if they broke it down to the 18-49 group we'd see a massive surge in deaths if the Brony was right.
Clearly, the official US data is being toyed with, since the EU, UK, NZ, and AU data all show unexplained excess deaths. Also, there's this:

They can't hide the true death figures from life insurance companies making the payouts.

But even if that weren't the case, the fact remains that you will never, ever be able to get Chise's furry science juice out of your shoulder. May as well give up and order the plushie while you're at it.

Can I get a QRD on this table that's comprehensible to an Eurofag? Are these increases in prices for the various policies that correspond to the increases in incidence of the respective events in the previous years?

Presumably yes - Its not quite a 1-1 correlation, but a massive jump like that is pretty much unheard of without underlying cause. The fact its only present in deaths and disability but not accidental deaths tells us its not because people are suddenly taking on the liveleak challenge in the workplace. Most insurance policies also refuse to pay out for Suicides, so its not people taking the state of the world into their own hands. This is correlating to some significant jump in the number of Natural Deaths as recognized by the government, and of people not dying but being so incapacitated by something chronic as to end up on Long Term Disability.

Its not an irrefutable smoking gun, but its definitely something that should be raising eyebrows and getting more attention - Even if you think its not related to covid and the shots, this points to a serious problem that should be worrying people.

Where are you getting excess mortality data for US post 2020 from? Last I checked the government was "delayed" in releasing the data. Most discussions here are based around the dire outcomes in other countries that have relased the data such as UK.

I finally got sick for the first time since March 2019. Couldn't say what it was, but I will say one thing, it was the shortest cold/flu I've ever experienced. In the past I would normally be out 1-2 weeks with a lingering cough for some time after that, this was beat back in 4 days, by day 6 I was 90%. It was shocking, although this time I have all my vegetables, vitamins, nasal and throat spray, ready to go. I had also been taking 3500 IUs of vit D/ 100mcq K2 for 3 weeks beforehand as well.

Strange experience got a sore throat late one night, next day it was definitely sore, that evening my nose started running like a literal faucet I had to sleep almost facing down with a bit of tissue in my nose it was dripping so much. During the night I had a tough time sleeping because my upper jaw and teeth were so sore. Woke up with a fever, but my nose had stopped dripping. Ate a light snack and snoozed until lunch, fever was gone on it's own when I woke up. Didn't want to take any acetominophen and risk losing my precious cellular antioxidants. From then on it was smooth sailing, I wasn't up at night coughing with post nasal drip, which I've never experienced before. The whole experience felt like a regular cold/flu, but it was stuck on fast forward. No experimental gene therapy required. I found an acquaintance of mine, between the ages of 28-38 was sick for two months recently with some kind of flu/pneumonia, not an obese guy. Unfortunately he had gotten a few of the jabs. He said to me "I don't know man maybe my immune system is just fucked?" I held my tongue though, we had never spoke of getting the shot at all beforehand, and I know his wife and mother-in-law browbeat him until he got it.

I feel a bit late to the party with the "I finnaly got sick" post, but better late than never. In a way I feel like it put a small bow on top of the last 4 years, much of which was spent in the old thread https://kiwifarms.net/threads/wuhan-coronavirus-megathread.65421/. I will never forgive @L50LasPak for autistically splitting the old thread of 3687 pages, and starting this new thread. The old thread is hard to find for newer users and it was an amazing archive of how everything unfolded, with lots of well sourced information.

@Absolutego would it be possible to remerge the old thread with this shorter newer thread? Can I put it on my Christmas wish list? I've been a good boy this year.

Neurotrawpic brain-eating virus!

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-023-40228-7 - https://archive.md/FDz19

Anosmia was identified as a hallmark of COVID-19 early in the pandemic, however, with the emergence of variants of concern, the clinical profile induced by SARS-CoV-2 infection has changed, with anosmia being less frequent. Here, we assessed the clinical, olfactory and neuroinflammatory conditions of golden hamsters infected with the original Wuhan SARS-CoV-2 strain, its isogenic ORF7-deletion mutant and three variants: Gamma, Delta, and Omicron/BA.1. We show that infected animals develop a variant-dependent clinical disease including anosmia, and that the ORF7 of SARS-CoV-2 contributes to the induction of olfactory dysfunction. Conversely, all SARS-CoV-2 variants are neuroinvasive, regardless of the clinical presentation they induce. Taken together, this confirms that neuroinvasion and anosmia are independent phenomena upon SARS-CoV-2 infection. Using newly generated nanoluciferase-expressing SARS-CoV-2, we validate the olfactory pathway as a major entry point into the brain in vivo and demonstrate in vitro that SARS-CoV-2 travels retrogradely and anterogradely along axons in microfluidic neuron-epithelial networks.

This one is pretty wild because they used a microfluidic device with a neuron culture to determine that SARS-CoV-2 was capable of both retrograde and anterograde movement along axons. Even back in 2020, there were papers where SARS-CoV-2 was suspected to infect the respiratory center of the brain stem by traveling up the vagus nerve from the lungs, but I'm not sure if this was ever confirmed. They do know that it crosses into the olfactory bulb through the transcribial route, though.

Thanks for the endemic neuroinvasive coronavirus, Daszak, you dickhead.

What book is that from?
I think that one's The Truth About Wuhan (written by Andrew Huff, the former VP of EcoHealth Alliance):
