Honestly, I'm less concerned about this being Spanish flu II: Ching Chong Boogaloo as I am the entire CCP house of cards collapsing. Interesting is that this happens when China signs it's phase 1 treaty with the US. What I'm really looking forward to is how this will be leveraged in future negotiations because this is going to fucking kneecap the Chinese economy. If it takes even 3 months for these areas to return to normalcy that's still an entire quarter that's ruined.

They wont. They will either move to a different country or they are already coming back, but that will create a lot of jobs. Automation is getting cheaper and more structured with Industry 4.0 (Hate that name). Over all manufacturing is growing in the US, but they are not creating a ton of jobs because it is relatively cheap to get a automated production going where you only need a few people for maintenance.

The thing that's bothering me is what's the point in creating more hospitals if you won't have any doctors to be in them? Good fucking luck convincing doctors from outside the contrainment zone to go in, and I doubt the doctors already there would be willing to work in a huge tomb with double the amount of patients and worse safety precautions.

They're just bringing in concrete coffins to stuff people into like sardines before using a crane to drop them in a hole and bring the next one. They are so completely overwhelmed by this that they have very little hope of containing it. Might as well cull who's infected as soon as possible if treatment isn't possible.
