Assuming Dave thought all this through and wanted traffic is an infinitely greater leap of faith than assuming he actually did rub one out while being stupid enough to leave the webcam on.

Phil is a coward and completely risk-averse; one of the reasons why his content is worse than ever is his skirting around hot topics and filtering/censoring his speech - and this was already in full swing at the time of the incident. He has also steadfastly refused to entertain 'organic' growth as shown by cutting streams right as he was being raided. To even acknowledge the possibility that Phil staged his rub is to entertain the thought that he acted against his nature in two different regards at the same time (taking a risk and wanting to grow). Four times in fact, because such a scheme requires some thinking and some effort, both of which Phil is allergic to.

The dumb twitter 3am posts was some stupid op by phil to cover up a drunken/accidental tweet. He accidentally posted some gibberish letters in the middle of the night one time and then rather than move on or laugh at his mistake he stayed up for a week or two after trying to make it look like an intentional hipster social experiment. Then he couldn't figure out how to end it so he stopped .

I don't remember the audio of the 3rd fap incident for sure but if its what I think it is I remember it being much the same thing.. The first and famous second fapping was revealed due to his stupidity and then sometime after being embarrassed by the big fapgate he spent some time trying to open the door to the possibility that it was just a stunt to his fans even after admitting it was an accident.

Yeah, at this point I don't think he could possibly have hidden in a mobile game forever. Just would've been harder to find if he at least went with "LostMyPanda" or something, and that still would've been pure pigroach luck.
