X018 2 hour MS live stream - Prepare to get disappointed from the lack of good 1st party games

Today at 9pm GMT,1 PM PT, 4 PM ET, MS is doing their version of the PSX events in Mexico, a live stream will take place which they are hyping up with new game info and reveals. MS used to do the X0 events back during the original XBOX, and is where games such as Halo and Fable were first shown.

MS have confirmed updates on Crackdown 3, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 4, as well as gamepass.

I expect that Forza Motorsport 8 will be announced for 2019 since Forza is an annual franchise at this point, alternating between Motorsport and Horizon, though it would be really great if Microsoft could finally announce Project Gotham Racing 5, the return of the XBox's original racing franchise 12 years after Project Gotham Racing 4, even if they have to develop it at Turn 10 due to the demise of Bizarre Creations (though I'd be hoping Microsoft could hire at least some of the ex-Bizarre developers).

I know you get some city circuits in Forza Motorsport but it's not quite the same because Project Gotham Racing mapped out entire areas of cities and was able to create dozens of potential circuits on each map.

If a new Project Gotham Racing isn't possible, I'd at least take a new Midtown Madness.

Normally I'd be a cynical gaymer asshole about this and bitch about how they're going to lose all the soul they had left but honestly after all the shit the studio's been put through over the years those guys deserve some financial stability, even with all the problems I've had with the Pillars games and some of their behavior. They're good people.
