And oblivion finally got the FPS boost treatment along with Fallout 3 and NV. Damn, I’ve got so much shit to play now…

(Seriously though I loved oblivion and Shivering Isles but couldn’t quite tolerate even the 30 fps treatment on series x, time to dive in with an ugly-as-fuck HERO OF KVATCH KIDS)

I was about 60% through a 'get all accomplishments' Oblivion run when I took a break and couldn't hack the framerate coming back to it, I might finally be able to 1000/1000 it (or whatever the fuck it is nowadays with all the expansions.

Bethesda rpgs are more kino on consoles, simply because you're forced to hack the game without console commands and abusing potions/enchanting in Skyrim for example to make a literal bringer of death with enough armour to never take a hit and enough carrying capacity to loot everything for the whole game is incredibly comfy.

Honestly this has been a pretty good round of BC and I can't wait for the inevitable black friday sale where some of these get discounted dirt cheap.

I'm particularly happy about TimeSplitters getting backwards compatibility finally, along with the older DOA games .. Even if it means I need to 100% them all over again like I did back in the day.
Though, is it just me or does the auto aim feature not function in TS2 like it should? Its a bit wonky trying to manually aim with a controller in something like TimeSplitters 2. Future Perfect was different, though.

If I remember right, TS2 didn't have auto aim, it just had an aim button that allowed you to move the gun from the dead centre of the screen for more accurate shots.

It was remarkably fucky but that's why it was so fun.

Really? While I do remember that, but I also remember the aiming being like in Goldeneye/Perfect Dark for the first two games, where the gun locks onto the target for a moment before you shoot it. Future Perfect's aiming system was a bit more like Halo's.
I DO remember the aim button/cross hair for TS2. Especially useful in levels like Siberia and Neo Tokyo with the Sniper Rifle, and the Behead the Undead challenges
