The issue is that the anti-piracy ethos which he cultivated, in his own discord server, is the real problem. At least he said he doesn't care about piracy :doubt: Why not tell your discord faggots STFU about it then? No, because those are his "fans" and the "pirates" are actually just randos coming in looking for some tech help. They wont be sticking around to "support" (read: ballwash) him.Screwing with abandonware companies barely care for anymore because of "muh piracy" is cuckoldry beneath 9 layers of autism. This is moral grandstanding in a scene where nobody cares about this corpo-karen bullshit debate.

These retards are always crying about this, going back as far as I can remember. It used to be more of "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" to keep nintendo off their nuts. More recently it has become an actual ethos where they complain about how they wouldn't want their own (out of print?) software pirated.I've never heard a dev getting pissy about pirating a game you can't buy for new anymore
They're the same faggots who act like I just raped a baby when I say I'm still *GASP* running Windows 7 on my old torrent/file server box. Maladjusted nerds have an overwhelming need to force their autistic opinions about trivial subjects on everyone else and treat it like it's the most important thing in the world. Also who gives a fuck if I pirate or not? I've had this same problem with Reddit, users with their head up their ass who act like it their job to sniff out pirates. Nigga either answer my question or fuck off, I don't need some passive aggressive hall monitor trying to snitch on me for downloading a 30 year old PS1 game.
I meant to say "emulator dev" in the title, my bad.I clicked on this thinking that this was some rouge Microsoft worker trying to shit up whatever remaining Xbox 360s are left by targeting the majority of users who have hacked their consoles by now, What I got was a testament to why gatekeeping is important, especially in the emulation sphere
He shouldn't have been autistic enough to think adding such a feature was a good idea in the first place. It was enough to design a 360 emulator, it's not really his business or obligation to police how people on their own volition choose to use it after install. At least he removed it.
Emulation is not piracy. Court has already set precedence to that.It is piracy
Because most of them are trannies. Unfortunately. Why are emulator devs such drama queens even among FOSSfags?
Its called abandonware at that point. Is it piracy if the game isn't sold anymore?
Honestly who gives a fuck even if it is.Emulation is not piracy. Court has already set precedence to that.
There's always the MAME devs where being able to actually play a fucking game is a privilege.I've never heard a dev getting pissy about pirating a game you can't buy for new anymore, they aren't getting the money anyway and most want people to be able to play what they made. In the case of fan translations have been positive remarks from the game devs themselves.
Man-babies that can't let go of their childhood. Why are emulator devs such drama queens even among FOSSfags?
I've never understood how emulation could be considered piracy. I mean even if it was physical goods... Just imagine.Emulation is not piracy. Especially if the game you're emulating is not sold elsewhere anymore.
You can just feel the smug condescending smirk that this faggot had on when he wrote that load of shit.I did a partial dox of Mar*in Kor*h, developer of a very old Game Boy emulator, a few years ago. It's here (supporters only), and I discovered he did a similar thing. In one of his readmes:

That was for an emulator he was trying to sell, for money. Here's a thread on romhacking.net where someone calls him out for that, and some random simp comes to his defense.
