If the kingpin of monkey torturers can be taken down, then I'm sure we can get these fuckers sent to a CCP run gulag where they can be worked to death.
Oh, definitely. I feel like the only major things that stand in our way is the obvious language barrier, surfing Chinese web/forums (I have a VPN but sometimes for me to look at a website I need a weibo or phone verification, etc), and knowing whatever the Chinese animal laws are.
But it isn't impossible. We can still do it.
Edit; Welp Easy beat me to it lol. He brought up good points. It IS gonna be hard.
another problem is the barriers the usual kiwifarms guerrilla warfare would face. the usual methods are naming and shaming, and passing off information to authorities where relevant.
in America, a lot of people lose their minds when exposed online as animal abusers, but that's because they're exposed on an American, English speaking forum. in China, that would obviously not be as effective.
tipping off authorities would also be a bit of a lost cause imo, because Chinese laws aren't strict on this kind of thing.
the best route would be to collaborate and share information with activist groups there in China, but you must be wary of who you share info with, because it's not beyond these people to make fake NGO pages to intercept tip offs.
one thing that's definitely a good thing though is that because they target 'celebrities' like Mr fresh, they've already received a lot of attention online, which means unlike with the monkeyfuckers (where it was p much only kiwifarms and a few individuals from other websites), there will be people from all strata who are investigating and spreading awareness.
with enough outrage (esp. on Chinese social media), I believe things can move in the cats' favor.

Naming and shaming IS illegal in China. At the very least your post will be shadowbanned off social media. Worst you will be arrested for "inciting public disorder" and thrown in jail for an indeterminate time of "Administrative detention" and then sentenced.
See: 中华人民共和国个人信息保护法 (Law on Personal information protection of the P.R.C), article 27, 42, 71.
Article 27:
"Except, in such where the processor of personal information handles information which should possibly cause a severe impact (on the person), shall obtain consent in accordance to the provisions of this code".
Article 42:
A person or individual who processes personal information of foreign origin that infringe upon the personal privacy rights of citizens of the P.R.C, or do otherwise threaten the national security of the P.R.C, shall be sanctioned (blacklisted) by the National Cyberspace administration of China. Said violators shall be put on a publicly available list and be subject to actions to limit or restrict the collection of data.
Article 71:
(Anyone who) Violates the provisions of this code, or whose action(s) constitutes a violation of public order (Incites Public disorder) shall be subject to processed in accordance with the regulations of the Public Safety Bureau. If it constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility shall be pursued in accordance with the law.
I just finished watching Yardfish's video on this subject and hard disagree here. The cat abusers in China are mind boggling retarded. Several have been doxed (quite swiftly as well), only to discover they have family that are high-ranking members of their local community or government, who leverage their power to get it swept under the rug.
What's the most baffling is that a lot of these abusers will openly shit-talk China, the CCP, even fucking Xi Jinping. One shithead even larps as a Japanese soldier during the Rape of Nanking, like what in the actual holy mother of fuck.

Yeah, but his parents are card members under a clique that is probably a major faction so nobody gives a shit. There's a saying in China 党在法外 or "(The Communist) Party is outside the law". Being in the CPC will protect you from offenses that would otherwise get you in trouble. In order to get these folks in jail, you either need to pull rank on him (and have enough rank to not get fucked by their patron's patron's patron), or you need to cause enough of a stir so they can't ignore it (easier said than done).
Don't believe for a second they can't fuck you up either. These folks will literally murder you to keep their jobs. This is because in China, any public servant, whose immediate family is accused of a crime cannot serve in a government job for two generations. There's a third method to get these people but do you really want to deal with the MSS (Chinese glows) or the army?
Everybody shitalks Xi, most just aren't dumb enough to do it in public.
I'll have to prepare myself mentally first, I get very upset when innocent things gets tortured.
I was also sent a video where a guy apparently livestreams himself using that feeder app to catch cats and then performing vivisection on it. I'm not sure if it's real, or just different images put together to create a story which is very common of the Chinese netizens.
I am not sure if I should share it.
Here's some law stuff I was gathering for a thread, I planned to write one during the Easter Holidays.
Q: Is it illegal to torture and kill animals?
《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百七十五条 (Chinese law, #275.)
A: Not really. This depends, if the animal belongs to another person and if it is worth a lot, then this act is illegal under the pretense of "property damaging". Typically, 1-7 years imprisonment.
A2: So unless someone tortures and kills a pure blood prize pet, or an endangered animal, there's no outright law to punish them with.
A3: If the act led to social unrest, civil unrest etc, then it will be considered major.
A4: Basically, it's legal to adopt, torture and kill your own pets.
Q: What are the other provisions?
A: It is illegal to torture and/or kill most wild animals.
Here is a source from a reputable government website detailing the difficulties in implementing such a law, which stems from online outrage towards Chinese animal torturers.
I will provide a proper translation when I have the time.
After the cat torture incident, many wanted animal protection laws to be refined.
Lack of proper laws to punish people who torture small, non-protected animals, so usually they are critiqued on the basis of morality and human decency.
These people are usually punished via other avenues, especially Internet Protection laws to shelter minors and dissemination of illegal content.
Due to this, there appears to be reluctance in implementing another law, as the offenders will usually get persecuted via other avenues anyway.
Pets, especially cats and dogs exist in a legal grey zone.
The laws are lacking simply because animals for companionship are very low on the list of animals that "matter" politically and financially. This led to a dark business of animal torturers.
There are no real laws to manage pet owners either. Such as dogs and leashes.
The article ends with "what now" and a call to action. They outline that before real laws are implemented, awareness can be raised. Areas that are economically advanced can implement local laws first (like Shenzhen).
Here's a sample list of notable animal torture incidents in China which caused outrage.

There are tidbits of information that ensures your bleak view on humanity isn't completely lost.
Some whore was crushing cats to death. This was definitely sexual as well.
There was an interview with this whore on Hangzhou television, she explains why she did it, social stress blah blah, she should just kill herself instead.
I'll try and find the segment. It was a nightshow spoken in a regional dialect, so I'll have to get a friend there to provide a translation first.
She also tortured rabbits and mice.
I'll have a look at the thread later too, so far, it looks alright but there are lots of misunderstandings of local Chinese law and Internet culture.
I could be totally wrong about this but I would say a good summation is the following:
It's very illegal to disrupt public order, to piss off groups of people (outside of government sanctioned protests against Japan, for example), but being provocative and angering people of a result of your provocative actions is illegal.
At the same time, there's no wrong way or reason to kill any wild animal.
So while killing or mistreating animals is legal, it can get you in legal trouble if it causes problems for others.

It's just this Eastern Asian fixation on social cohesion and conformity again which pisses me off. It's not the act being deplorable, it's about the people who got disgusted by it and how the act (could) negatively impact social cohesion, ie it's bad for mianzi/face.
Anyway, calling it breaks. I'm already pissed.
not to be a doomer about it, but I don't think it would be that easy.
on October 16th, Yardfish, the guy who made the video featured at the top of the OP, had contacted me to talk about the cat torture people. I never screencapped his message, but I remember what it said, he described the cat torturers as being like 'the final boss of zoosadism', because unlike the monkey fuckers, the cat abusers in China are rather smart and have miles better opsec.
combine that with the massive language barrier anyone from the English speaking net would face when trying to investigate them (note, that monkey fuckers talk amongst themselves, and to their VOs in English, despite the VOs being Indonesian mainly), and it becomes an immensely tricky prospect.
as much as people in this thread have been slagging off the Chinese, at this moment the only people that have an entrenched ability to do anything about the cat torture, are Chinese activist groups. they have been doing work, but at the end of the day it's a tragedy whenever community activism has to struggle to fight against what should be the prerogative of the government.
I'm hopeful that they'll all see the inside of a slave mine in inner Mongolia, but it's not something that can happen overnight, and not without a lot of hard work, especially grassroots action

They claimed that "The Cat Community's special military operation against street cats is underway."
Boasted about being a part of the police force (basically meaning that they could get away with almost anything)
They also doxxed a lot of Chinese animal rights activist on their channel. They particularly highlighted this person because she used someone else's picture instead of her real one

Nothing gets my autistic rage going like cat torture groups. I hope these people get what they deserve.
Recent Mr. Fresh updates: (if there's a better thread to post these in please let me know)
All posted by this instagram account. In early March, Mr. Fresh was rescued from the streets and placed in the home of a "guardian," a member of one of the cat advocacy groups in China trying to combat the torture ring.
Unfortunately he developed some heath problems about a week ago and is back at what looks like a temporary shelter run by Street Cat. The account claims that Street Cat refuses to release him back to the guardian. Fucked up if true, justice for Mr. Fresh.

Not sure how real this one is. If I'm reading it correctly, the "dox" is being lifted from a database that the police has access too. I don't need to explain how criminal this was, assuming it wasn't a total larp.
A lot of these cat torturers love to larp as big, mean and strong men. Torturing animals makes them feel powerful.
Here's another one of these sick fucks, some international student studying in Australia.
This private information is unavailable to guests due to policies enforced by third-parties.
He's saying if aboriginals torture animals, the Australian police can't even dare to do anything. They were also talking about the state rewarding people for cat killing.
https://twitter.com/Wangchaoyibisi
I found an account dedicated to documenting these sick fucks. There's lots of photos so progress with caution. I'm already grossed out.
There's people torturing pet hamsters as well. A lot of these people are kids.
How real is this?
This guy is a piece of work, an ex-CPC member, professor at Tongji University, and likes torturing cats.
He then seeked refuge in the states.
Apparently he left China due to animal rights groups. There's a video of him performing vivisection on a stray cat?
- 2017
- He left China because of this
CNN actually interviewed this guy?
Now living in Virginia, Qiu runs a pro-democracy YouTube channel and has faced an onslaught of homophobic, racist and bizarre insults from social media accounts that Linvill’s team and others have tied to Spamouflage.
Some accounts have posted cartoons that convey Qiu as an insect working on behalf of the US government. Another image depicts him being stomped by a cartoon Jesus. Yet another paints him as a dog on the leash of an American rat.
“I tell people the truth, so they want to do anything possible to insult me,” Qiu said.
Linvill and his team have tracked hundreds of these cartoons across the internet, and said they are a “tell” of Spamouflage. Cartoons, Linvill explained, can be more effective than text because they are “eye-catching” and “you have to stop and look at it.” In addition, these original cartoons can easily be translated into hundreds of languages at a very low cost.
Beyond the online smears, Qiu says he has also faced threats via other online messages and escalatory calls from unidentified sources who he believes have ties to the Chinese government. One anonymous message told him he would be arrested and brought to justice for breaking Chinese law. An email referenced the church he attends in Manassas, Virginia and said, “for his own safety and that of the worshippers, he would do well to find another place to stay.”
Qiu told CNN that the FBI has interviewed him four times regarding these threats, and that he has been instructed to contact local police if he is ever followed.
I found a good reference.
In 2005, this guy tortured 20+ cats. He got reprimanded and wrote a letter voicing his regrets. He wasn't punished and I bet he felt sorry only because he got caught.
This was from 2017, the same university even (how?)
Alright, everything lines up now. This also happened in 2017 and the torturer was a visitor to the school. They didn't disclose who he was.
Obviously, no punishment. They felt sorry only because they got caught.
The posts allege that this Qiu Jiajun guy who is a fierce CPC critic was the torturer. The incident happened in 2017, and according to online sources, he fled China in 2016. That's certainly not right.
There's more, a pet-stray cat that students and teachers fed for 8 years in the same university was tortured and killed.
The comments section is full of outrage.
The cat was killed, another got scalded by boiling water, and a third one was dismembered.
Anyway, it appears that some of these people "exposing" zoosadists are malicious actors trying to use the outrage to go after critics of the Chinese government.
Let this be a warning to anyone investigating these sick fucks. Some people are using western moral outrage to smear critics of the CPC. This basically exemplifies disinformation, it takes several minutes to make up some shit and it took me an hour to discredit it.

Since you're here I wanted to ask about their last post. They also posted these two files on their Telegram, which I assume are the list of all the activists
Deepl Translation:
q is the version of the animal protection group, w is the original release version

I don't really understand how this list works. Are these the IDs from their Weibo accounts or is it something else?
Translations are alright.
The numbers have 19 digits, China's citizen identification card has 18.
Weibo UID aren't that long, 10 digits maybe?
Honestly, I have no clue.
The word 群 here does not mean group, in the traditional sense of the word. The word is used to describe online collectives, like chat groups.
動保群 could be animal protection groups, or it could mean animal protection activist's chatgroup.
In the context of this post, it should be the latter. Usually, they're called organisations, ie 動保組織, not 動保群. 組織 = organisation.
The numbers at the back are 11 digits, so that would be their phone numbers?
What even is this gay shit, 23396 entries? The other file is missing 2, at 23394.
I think this is an AI or algorithm generated fake dox list.
