Today, Yaniv was personally victimised by an Elections Canada staff member who thought he was a bloke on the phone.
It took ninety minutes to go from bitching about it on Twitter, to BCHRT complaint, all the way to the Human Rights Tribunal of Canada.
Yaniv has stated that he was following the advice of his lolyer.

A federal human rights complaint is something new at least. I love the pls respond tweet the most though.

Something something first thread ever sorry.

Fuck me, now I need to learn the intricacies of another Canadian government department!? This shit is starting to feel like work.

Can you just keep filing complaint after complaint? Is there no limit?
He's gone after and ruined a lot of people. Will this tribunal just hear whatever shit he sends them?

At this point, anything Yaniv does is getting filed in the "Wackshit I saw on the internet" folder in my head.

It's like he wants to sue his entire nation.

If you read the initial tweet, the wording is interesting. Yaniv never says that he corrects the person, just that he said his name was Jessica. Maybe the person on the phone that it was a male named Jessica or some shit? If it happened at all.

It's Yaniv. I'd be surprised if it happened. Still, it's possible that the guy on the line may have heard 'jesse' or 'jess' and assumed it was still a man. Gimme call transcripts before you start tryna claim heads, faggot.

Agreed this is beginning to feel like the 3rd year of law school. I just count on another well educated kiwi to do the work for me. Too much work but I need the lols.

Wasn’t Yaniv just arguing a few months back that their name isn’t stereotypically gendered? How is the person on the other end of the phone supposed to know that Jessica isn’t a mans name.

More importantly how is some rando call center operator who hears the husky baritone of Yaniv supposed to know they are talking to a dainty woman as opposed to a fat obnoxious man?

Well, not quite. He only wants to sue people who 1) can pay him in cash and 2) won't fight back. As we've seen, he won't go after somebody unless he thinks there's money in it, and (with the exception of the three cases he argued together at the tribunal) the moment someone lawyers up and hits back, he backs off like the little bitch he is.

This one's an interesting choice. It's a government agency, so it has the resources to fight back easily. Then again, it's a cucked government, so it might just cave anyway. He's probably banking on that.

I wonder if it's actually Elections Canada that called.
This is around the time that most candidates have the student volunteers shaking the tree, calling registered voters and asking if they can count on a person's vote.
It probably was some 17 year old who needs to volunteer to graduate who didn't really listen and wanted to add a check to the list of numbers called.

Super interesting choice because it's a federal government agency. As such, is under jurisdiction.of the federal.human rights code and not the provincial code. BCHRT has no jurisdiction. The Canada Human Rights Commission generally enforces corrective action against federal agencies (aka the gunning) and federally-regulated businesses (ie., Airlines).

Elections Canada might be forced to issue a written apology. The case will most certainly be stored in the public archives.

How do we know he used Jessica?...He could have simply said Jess....fully androgynous & assumed it was a male from the voice.

If this was a govt. office he called, I would have to believe all calls are recorded?

Was once in an Uberpool, and the driver didn't know that Scarlet was a woman's name. Pulls over at a spot and saks a massive black dude if he's Scarlet.

First of all, I've watched this shitheel play recordings of himself on the phone, setting his little HRT beartraps for local businesses , & he goes out of his fucking way to try & sound like a man.

Second, pretending for a second that his delicate sensibilities really are so deeply offended that the person on the phone thought the man on the other line was a man, given John's imbecilic tardspeech impediment, he needs to just be happy that any of his phone calls don't include the other person asking him to remove the chin strap of his special needs helmet & repeat something, because he talks like he's a TBI patient swallowing a cock.

I think it's safe to assume that it was Yaniv who placed the initial call, portentously inquiring whether a dainty lady such as herself might expect to avail herself of a scooty puff ramp at the underfunded high school gymnasium where Langley residents of all stripes expect to gather later this month to cast votes in the federal election for a qualified candidate for Parliament, i.e. NOT STACEY WAKELIN, such as to usher in a new era of troon dominance in the Great White North, whereby anyone who commits an atrocity such as misgendering Miss Yaniv shall be sentenced to a period of not less than 20 years of hard labor in the Morgane Oger Work and Rehabilitative Colony in the Yukon Territory 50 miles outside Whitehorse, such sentence to be performed until either its expiry date or the death or incapacitation of the sentenced individual, because, c'mon people, we're not monsters here, you know.
