It's this:Is it just a fancy way of saying joined up writing?
The goal is that it's faster to write if you minimize the number of times you pick up the pen. So every word is joined together as one fluid stroke of the pen. That's just joined up writing. All this time I was thinking that cursive was some beautiful looking but impossible to read code.
I write fucking slower using cursive than I do with everything in higher case. It's either ineffective or I have reached a new level of low-class.The goal is that it's faster to write if you minimize the number of times you pick up the pen. It can also be used as a means of writing in plain English so that niggers can't read it.
It takes practice. Even more on this spectrum is shorthand which looks nothing like normal english but a trained professional can read and write it just fine. Though that's an antequated writing method that ended up being replaced by the typewriter. Cursive is much quicker if you're trained in it (also, it was never taught the same way it is in modern schools. The point of cursive is you could write it fast in a legible way. The modern cursive symbols are a modern invention). If you have to spend time to think about how "proper" cursive is written, you're writing cursive wrong.I write fucking slower using cursive than I do with everything in higher case. Computers/the internet are what killed it. When you can type all correspondence from an immediately accessible personal device, the utility of script that's harder to read but faster to write dwindles. It was written language we used until the niggers and spics were deemed too stupid to do it.
