Did these two fucking faggots flanking Ye show up at a dinner and insult a former president to his face about his chances in the next election? That's....fucking unreal if true. The idea that the former president lost part of a base of young republicans more radical than he is is one thing, but to also be openly told to fuck off is more balls than I would suspect.

About That Time Kanye West Bumped into Former C.I.A. Director George Tenet

Totes normal to bump into the CIA, my fellow normies! Very news worthy too.

It also should be pointed out Ye and Musk have been in on the Twitter re-branding together, and if you can't see Musk is linked up with the intelligence agencies, you're brain-dead.

Now that you put it that way I guess I'm gay for Ye

I think a lot of people think "if Trump can do it then anyone can" but I think it's missing how good Trump's campaign was. He capitalized on fears about immigration, America's dwindling (perceived or otherwise) economy and industrial heart and Hilary's unpopularity. I honestly don't think that Kanye or Nick have the temperament for it, Nick goes on missive rants about how much he hates the working class and the closest Kanye has got to political commentary is calling out the Jews.

It's way to premature to call anything, but I'm not really feeling it. Nick got to meet his heros so it's a win for him one way or the other.
Lot of deranged people in general think their twitter timeline represents the feelings of Real America and end up not realizing how odd their views really are.

In the case of right wingers of Nick's variety, they think they can be "more Trump than Trump" and have everyone flock to them. Problem is they believe in a weird caricature of Trump as being this intense radical when really he's a fairly moderate boomer who is really into the idea of improving the economy. It does make him stand out in politics though since others often do things like promote the idea that they're going to be the world police or save the world from the weather.

That's the point. Americans don't want politicians anymore. They fucking WANT showmen.
Then they will be driven into the ground as soon as the "deep state" evaporates or becomes less competent at offsetting lunatic spergs cosplaying at the very top of the nation.

Wow you mean the guy who puts NRO spy satellites into orbit is in bed with glowniggers?

Well then that is gonna be fucking quickly because I'm pretty sure the deep state is just a bunch of boomer glowwies who did insider trading and they've yet to fully figure out immortality. Hell there was that article earlier in the year saying alzheimer's research had been faked for years so any meds those old fucks got were wrong.

Kanye already killed his political career having the faggot fuhrer and used to be blonde faggot fuhrer lol.
Trump doesn't event need to stomp those 3 into the dirt, they're 3 incredibly cringy dorks (Kanye is ight sometimes)

I think that depends-large sections of the populace want showmen of one type or another. Liberals and apolitical normies are generally most comfortable with bland politicians. Or-bland politicians that can also act "inspiring" and "profound".

Part of the reas the Trump administration caused such dissension was because Trump broke the rules-presidents aren't supposed to be divisive figures that shamelessly appeal to their own constituency-their basically priest kings, comforters, uniters, father figures. Not "I got my people who voted for me, fuck you lot". It shreds the illusion.

(Or at least the modern mystique around presidents has been crafted to make them appear as inoffensive yet unifying figures-that lead the nation, through triumph, through grief, through uncertainty). Above petty partisanship, above street ugliness, ritualized ur-fathers. Trump was none of those things.

FDR played into this sort "national father" figure-and conservatives despised him because how dare a politician, a servant of the people accord such servility-now conservatives want a patriarch who will dive into the mud for them.

But for the last forty years-since Clinton if not Carter-presidents and politicians have been carefully managed, every word considered with precision, every speech intended to offend as few as possible, every soundbite appealing to the broadest base. Large sections of the population want energetic showmen-not these empty suits that are so clearly insincere. No one is inspired by rehearsed scripts and empty corporatese.

At the same time-showmen are all so often carnival creatures-cavorting and acting in a way that speaks to a lack of seriousness or finesse.

TLDR: Americans invest far too much emotionally into politicians who modulate their personalities accordingly to the "above petty ugliness" or "shoot from the hip mud brawler" archetypes.

This still seems too good to be true. Kanye West will be running as a fringe third party candidate advocating for some kind of Christian theocracy. Milo will be his campaign manager and Fuentes will be his comms director. And they've somehow all deluded themselves into believing they can win bc /pol/ is behind them. Chances are this thing will crash and burn in its infancy but if they manage to continue this larp for the next 2 years....I can't even imagine the laughs we'll have along the way.

Here's one of the first results you get when you search Kayne on youtube that's unrelated to Trump or Fuentes

Are you guys seeing the potential mass appeal of a West candidacy yet???
I can't wait.

If you go to Twitter you may think most of the population is intensely political and is itching for revolutionary social and institutional change. This isn't true, most Americans when you strip away the ephemera just want stability, comfort, and emotional closure.

Like cattle-take care to feed and water them, and not stress them-they will be docile.

On the far left/liberal sphere and far right-you have people that intensely care about politics, and want broad changes to society, indeed the world. Enough they can shape policy, and affect the national tenor-but I'd argue 67 out of every hundred Americans is just a bland normie.

Maybe 20 to thirty percent more "cares" in the sense they regularly vote, consume political news and go out of their way to discuss it-but only a minority of Americans want revolutionary upheaval.

Yes. Same was true during the US Revolutionary War. Same was true in Germany before WW1 and WW2. Same was true in Ukraine prior to the war with Russia. It's the job of revolutionaries to bring the masses to heel.

So is Nick moving on from Cozy? America First? Is he Going to become the Catboy Secretary of President Ye?

Honestly I wonder what position Ethan Ralph would hold. Maybe appointee as the head of the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms?) What about Agent Alaska as the head of the FBI? Or Beardson Beardly being the hobbit Chairman of the federal reserve?

This clown show would make Trump’s and Biden’s administration look normal in comparison.

The most shocking development to come out of this whole turn of events is the fact that @BoxerShorts47 is saying things that make sense.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), americans are much less scrupulous than the br*tish, so nick's hitler comments will not be a problem for him unlike sargon's rape comments.
I really fucking doubt that. Sargon was running for a local seat for a dud party and he still got an absolute torrent of abuse. Nick's already being portrayed as the right-hand man of another highly controversial and salacious individual, who's just announced he's running for the fucking presidency. Not only that, but he's now had an audience with the hated Literally Hitler who's been dominating news cycles for the past six years.

Political discourse in America is even more polarized and vitriolic than in the UK, with left-leaning journalists pouring over everything done and every person met by Trump in an effort to weaponize them dor political gain. Fuentes now being associated with Trump has earned him a permanent place in the hallowed halls of TDS literature. They'll drag his name through the papers whenever they can just so they can write "white supremacist, who Trump had dinner with" next to it.

If this whole Kanye candidature thing doesn't peter out in the coming months, you can bet your ass Nick is going to get a lot of negative press coverage. Before, he was a nobody to anyone not spending their lives on the Internet obsessing over politics or laughing at retards. Now you've got eldritch news hacks from real institutions who've got him on their radar. Not just left-wing ones but Never Trumper right-wing ones as well, along with anti-defamation and minority interest organisations.

Honestly, he's Christmas come early for any political hack journalist who hates the Far Right. You couldn't make up a more juicy and scandalous story for them to exploit. A literal white supremacist with a massive documented footprint who managed to worn his way into the (mistaken) confidence of both Black and Orange Hitler and now everyone involved in that story is pointing the finger at someone else and chaos and speculation reign supreme.
