Again the amount of misdirection pushed by the devs made it difficult to get a straight answer from them without having to kiss their ass or look through their online history.

Leaving it in as is without any changes or edits feels 1000% intentional and spiteful. It's such a waste of time and it stands out since it's one of the few cutscenes that uses the 2D portraits instead of 3D models. As soon as I got to that part, I knew the Allansons were bitter.

It’s a stretch, but part of me thinks that the scene could do well with the approach they took for the Cutscene for meeting Rory. In fact, I think most of the sprited scenes needed this approach. The sprites are not the best, and even if they were, there’s a lack of variety in the sprites to appropriately convey moment to moment. NG+ really shows how well they could have presented and recontextualized so many more scenes for the better.

I think they left the sprite cutscenes in because
1) Cheaper
2) Brian and Andrew’s sister made the sprites. Cutting them out of the game entirely would be what I would do, but I can see why they would keep her work for a game studio that is more or less family-owned.

I was thinking about YIIK yesterday and how so much of the shit, especially with NG+, feels disjointed and doesn't go anywhere. Almost symbolism for the sake of having symbolism. It finally clicked what it felt like: Andrew probably had a bunch if ideas and scenes he jad, inspired by things he'd seen or emotions he felt, but just on their own. The sort of shit that is usually prefaced by "wouldn't it be cool if...". It seems like he wanted to put all of them in the game and, like the sprites, didn't want to throw any idea away. Hence it just ends up with this meandering plot that barely goes anywhere.

It's just cut together scenes of the Benevolent Psychosis stuff. Quite literally the beginning sections. It's a little funny that the video is cut together like baby's first AMV.

Something horrible happened to me while I was playing it a few weeks ago. I beat the last boss and picked yes at the final option. Because of that, I had to redo the entire of the final segment of the game in order to access NG+. Friendly reminder to save, even when you think you don't need to. Also I didn't redeem all my levels before the final part of the game, which meant I couldn't use them all before the final boss. Using blood bags to level up Kartas also uses up a day. I also didn't have enough money to give to Matt Hopkins, which locked me out of getting the best shirts in the game. I will say though, the night time atmosphere at that part was great. Not completed it yet, but NG+ has been interesting.

Given how much of a manipulative, insecure liar Hellkrai is, I take everything he says with a huge grain of salt.
At least this proves my assumptions about the YIIK fandom: YIIK fans are either melodramatic highschool kids or insecure man-children, all of whom are terminally online and retarded.

It's late and this video is slow and kinda boring so i won't watch more since i expect it to be +35 minutes of hellkrai sucking his own dick over twitter arguments. You couldn't ask for a better representative of the yiik community.

Obviously he’s the one who instigates every negative interactions he and the other YIIK fans have had over the years. In fact, Hellkrai was the first one to start shit with Viperwave long before they ever mentioned him in their streams.

I brought up those posts because in lifetimedisaster’s callout thread about Hellkrai, one of the screenshots they posted shows Hellkrai admitting to starting shit on purpose. He even mentions that he wanted to create fake outrage against himself, so he can easily disprove obvious lies in order to make himself sound credible while invalidating any criticisms levied towards him and anything he likes.

So this whole video solely exists to try to invalidate what LifeTimeDisaster, Trip, Cheryl, and what other YIIK fans have said about Hellkrai’s unhinged bullshit.

This whole drama not only shows how much of a pathetic attention-whore Hellkrai is, but it also shows how stupid and self-destructive the Allansons are. Brian and Andrew have willingly befriended Hellkrai, who is doing everything in his power to make their lives miserable by baiting people into attacking YIIK/Ackk Studios, so he can play hero and protect the Allansons from the “haters”.

Only now, its getting to the point where Hellkrai is attacking the Allansons’ own fans because Hellkrai is bored and wants to start drama for shits and giggles.

I would feel bad for the Allansons, but they did this to themselves. Maybe if they weren’t such massive pussies who can’t take criticism, they wouldn’t need someone like Hellkrai to filter out the “hate” and fight their battles for them.
