If you want to make it quicker, just ban ALL Chinese nationals from travelling and moving to first-world countries and opening bank accounts and owning property there. Ban ALL Chinese capital from investing and opening subsidiaries in first-world countries. The greedy nature of the Chinese will take care of the rest.
You wouldn't even need embargoing China-made goods with the aforementioned formula in operation.

I've got a multi-step approach, much of which has been said before

1. Remove the yuan from the dollar standard and actively dismantle as much of the Belt and Road as possible.

Do what you can to keep Italy out of the Belt and Road and encourage them to exit the EU alongside Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Poland. If possible, try to smooth things over with the Russians to make sure they won't side with China, since they're a regional wildcard in both Europe and along the Chinese northern border.

2. At the same time, impose a total embargo on Chinese trade and promote Anti-CCP sentiment both in the USA and abroad.

Hold the CCP's feet to the fire and publicize Maoist atrocities as much as possible. Cite the COVID-19 pandemic as justification. If Germany or any other EU nations want to condemn it, then put them under strict sanctions and expulse them from NATO.

3. Actively disseminate anti-CCP propaganda and use the NSA and cyberwarfare units of the military to do a Manhattan Project-tier approach to cyberwarfare.

Basically it would be a multi-faceted approach to break the Great Firerwall to help spread anti-Maoist, anti-socialist, and anti-CCP propaganda and do hacks to shut down or delay government and economic systems. Erase the social credit scores of the entire country and just spam propaganda against the CCP and uncensored images of Tienanmen Square and Maoist crimes against humanity.

4. Take all the Antifa and BLM activists in federal custody along with all the Guantanamo Bay inmates and all black inmates in federal prisons and exile them to China on civilian freigher boats and cruise ships. This step would be done fairly early, around the same time as the embargos and restrictions on the Yuan or just a few days or weeks before. If possible, false flag it and use German or Canadian merchant marine flags

If states want to discharge their more violent or gang affiliated inmates serving long sentences (20 years or more), they can opt into the program as well

5. The exiled inmates will be dropped off in Chinese port cities alongside crates of confiscated illegal drugs, weapons, and ammunition and a message saying they're on their own.

6. CIA glow spooks and Army Special Forces can train Uighur militias and encourage militant Tibetan nationalism while also doing low key terror attacks on police and military targets and assassinations of Chinese goverment officials. Keep the Hong Kong riots going and low-key actively arm and train them.

7. A few weeks after the exiles arrive and the embargos begin, declare a state of emergency and activate the military. Encourage Taiwan, Japan, the Phillippines, Vietnam, South Korea, India, and Australia to join us and do the same as part of a coalition. However, do not make the declaration public for at least 24 hours.

8. During those 24 hours, do a simultaneous series of massive drone strikes and airstrikes on the Three Gorges Dam and any military bases, nuclear silos, power plants, and government HQ's that can be identified via satellite. Give special attention to the Three Gorges Dam, Beijing, Wuhan, and Shanghai.

9. Send troops to reinforce Taiwan and liberate Hong Kong on the day the state of emergency is declared

work on building factories in other countries that can provide almost everything china does which it survives on, then start getting supplies from those countries. china is an extremely fragile country and to do this would be devastating, but the knock on effects would cause major issues everywhere. In all likelyhood, if anything was done to destroy the chinese economy, it would probably take down the rest of the world with it. Imagine the great recession, now picture it as a huge joke with no consequences whatsoever. that's what it will look like compared to the economy we will have if such an integral and invested part of the world economy was to just go belly up.
 
China is a remarkably capable country when it comes to lockdowns - acting swiftly and with precision. I think this is exactly their undoing as one could strike with biological weapons and be fairly certain the country would restrict movement to ensure the virus burns out within their border thus limiting collateral damage.

My proposal is to produce 2 viruses. One severe and deadly; probably smallpox and an Ebola type virus combined, must be airborne. The other presents obvious symptoms but is not-lethal and easily treated, the point is that it is obvious someone is infected which is what you want - but not to kill them.

Have the less lethal virus released in ONE center where medical clinics and laboratories are present.

Have the virus 48 hour later dispersed into all cities that facilitate international travel thus causing a panic with the removal of flights from the country to and from. This will happen within 24-48 hours. China will conclude the initial reports from their city with the laboratories mean they have had another virus escape rather than realize they have been sabotaged.

Second, release the actual virus you want to kill them with 24 hours after the travel restrictions go in place with primary concentration on their food hubs and regions first followed by all major cities within hours. The country is isolated and we can be confident it will now (thanks to air travel being restricted) not breach the confinement of the country.

Third, incendiary devices on food storage units only forcing rations to be limited to a week or so.

This should effectively knock-out their way of life resulting in social chaos and the regime will fall.

Making countries be self-sufficient may not be good to China being "the world's factory".

But what really needs to happen is that China needs to really be the "people's republic".

So it is mine:

Use their financial market fucked-up structure.

Stop One: Buy as many as possible Evengrande papers (both stocks and bonds) and do the same with stock of their banks. FF is huge enough to do it in signifant value.
Step Two: Sell at once ALL of Evengrande papers. Or rather: set up selling all of them until market will by dry.
Last step: Moderate sell to other cooperating agents banks stocks pill, to simulate panic on their exchange.

If it work correct, their should face with a giant domino effect on their stock exchange and bonds (both state and corporate). This will lead to a cascade of red color on them, wipe out most part of their savings and flush down the toilet their real estate worth.

Costs: huge. This will make a massacre also on all of supply chain but hey, people will live without more plastic trash.
 
If I were to destroy china I would send in 5 million Jewish leftists and tell them to learn Chinese and infiltrate every level of academia. Also if the Chinese noticed I would hold anti semitism as akin to destroying ones face.

200 well placed explosives on 3-gorges and any other main infrastructure. Queue instant instability and self-genocide. You’d only need to hit major grids to fuck everything up, and even then you’d only need 1 per considering how shoddy their work is.
 
Encourage China to become dependent on exports, encourage China to become dependent on energy imports, encourage China to create the largest real estate bubble in history
