A fantasy world would suck, it's like how people point out that superhero universes would suck since like 99.999% of the population isn't going to have any powers at all and will be completely subject to the whims of the small portion of people who got a good dice roll. At any time some warlock or mythical beast can show up and completely decimate your town of groveling peasants and there's nothing you can do about it.

If this were elder scrolls it would be the altmer. They literally have the most control of magic out of every other race, magic, the practice which allows you to manipulate nature and reality itself. I'm not sure how much of an "anti racist" message can be peddled in the elder scrolls franchise.
 
There is no question I would be a hobbit. I'd like my trade to be in textiles, probably spinning and dying wool.

I imagine myself being like a highland hobbit though. I'm picturing something like the Carpathian mountains, lots of sheep herds.

Free roaming would not let me laze around, so attached is better.

French Isekai is best. You get to fight cops, saracen mailmen, televisions, and have a breath attack that staggers any foe. The scabies debuff you apply also causes the enemy to think twice about attacking again.
