Idk what you're getting at, we're apparently going to be living in a very hyper-specific post fall landscape where you still have access to all the ingredients and shit you normally would, the entire landscape is the same, but the internet has been zapped from existence.

Everything you use, including most of the ingredients and how they wind up from where they were made to where you are, is built upon such a delicate system that if suddenly everything fell apart your recipes and fact sheets would be virtually meaningless because they wouldn't be tailored to your specific form of availability.

You're better off just getting treated for your autism and going outside and doing shit with your hands so you get used to figuring things out without the help of the internet. One guy with a good memory and a sense of intuition is worth about 10 people with the best google-fu available, and the former has the advantage of adaptability.

I'm going to put a spin on this.

I do almost all of my bills Snail Mail. I force my bank to give me copies of my checks. Why?

1. Because when there is something wrong and there is a problem with a bill or bank and you do things digitally... it is MUCH MORE HARDER to fix the problem with it than A HARD COPY.

2. Everyone that I know/knew that had use the internet and done financial deals HAVE GOTTEN their identity stolen or money stolen from them.

I do not do any financial period online.


And if you wonder how I do business with Cash with large amounts of money with property?

That is simple.

Lets say that I'm doing business in one part of the state and I'm interested in buying a piece of property.

And lets say I need 100 grand to start escrow. I make my contact with the agent I am dealing with. We set up time and place on which financial institution where the escrow office is and make the physical transaction with receipt.

By the way because of my outstanding credit score depending on the loan in question I get better rates as well as lower up front money needed to purchase things. Yes my credit history is that fucking good.

Because I fucking believe in the power of MONEY.

The advantage is that the escrow is immediate, there is no mandatory wait time when you wire money from one place to another. The Real money is counted, validated immediately and the physical money is placed into the vault.

Transaction is completed.

BUT SECONDLY.... MONEY TALKS... I can not tell you the heads turning when you come in with 100G's in a Branch managers office.

People is conditioned now by everything digital, but MONEY IS POWER.

And REAL on hand money in large amounts is used and seen in a honest business transaction. Heads do fucking turn. You get a totally different attitude coming from the finance industry. Because it is REAL... IT IS HARD COPY... AND IT IS A TANGIBLE VALUE.

I earned that right to play that game of power and affect the sphere of influence around me.

I earned that right because I busted my ass for 27 years on jobs nobody wanted to do. I Saved my money did my research and got ahead of the game.

I feel that it is my job now to tell other people that it is possible on how to be FREE of the corporate slavery that is so very real in today's society. I'm living proof of that.


Hard Copy is an important thing to do in order to get ahead as I feel that going digital on everything is going to help keep you corporate slavery.


In my case...

If it is important documentation it is hard copied.

If there is a great deal of information then it is put on a several CDs/DVD and the Hard copy is stored. Writable only. Rewrites are secondary and then after a few years updated and copied to Writable only CD's

Because I fucking know and fucking seen the reimaging of the past.
Of people in power erasing history and recreating it in their own image.

Because of that I will take the written word over the digital one as I know from first hand experience how dark and evil people can be.

Securing the biggest local library should be a one of the first moves a postapoc makes.
 
Just buy a Ecotank from Epson, one of those refillable tank Brother printers are also fine too (Brother also has some models that can be fitted with third party, self resetting refillable cartridges). Just ask for Piezo compatible ink in both cases and you are ready to go.

Or if you want to go the HP route, look for the HP Ink Advantage series of printers. Those are dirt cheap printers, the cartridges are easy to refill and if the machine makes a fuzz about "cartridge low on ink" just press the power or cancel button on the printer (depending on model) and they ignore the error. The downside is that you have to fight with the drivers instalation on Windows 10 as HP forces you to download an "app" from the Microsoft Store

It's possible that black and white lasers and colour inkjets do it too, but the method is not yet known.

Nonetheless, a printer and a filing cabinet (remark addressed to the retard earlier who didn't know how to make a system for storing printed matter) are good things to have. It's kind of stupid to be proud of how much you rely on Apple, Google etc. because it makes you feel superior to your senile parents.

I agree. When shit hits the fan people should at least have some useful print outs for me to take when I am.. visiting their houses
