That awkward moment when you realise something Chris did is god awfully similar to something you've done. Has it happened to anyone else before?

I shamefully admit I found the Megan saga had some similarity with my 15 year old self. A misguided, sad and lonely child with no friends, finally, somehow, made a friend. They lived the other side of the country, so we could only talk through email. I had all day, everyday, all the time, always. I emailed constantly, responding the very second I heard ANYTHING back. In the end I drove them away, after, in my immature stupidity, hacked their email address. then made it all out to be a silly game, then tried to make up a lie to cover it up, by then it was obvious what I'd done. Then I sat back and realised, I HAD a friend, and I threw that away... just like Chris did.

The major difference between us, is that I learned. Whenever I see Chris do something crazy, I see myself again at about 15/16. The difference is now, Chris is 30+ and I'm 25+ - I've moved on, he hasn't.

Would anyone else dare to admit they've done something as crazy as Chris before?

op is dumb like chris and cannot use search or look on this page seeing there is an exact same thread.

Please refrain from comparing yourself to Chris, it's just sad.

This comes up monthly and nobody adds anything interesting to the discussion, so locked.
