What Amber doesn’t get is that she will never get an answer for the “why”. That’s the insanity of the disease. The message that she was missing is that the regret, guilt and shame is what will keep an addict sick especially when it comes to a mother’s guilt.

AL needs to give her mom time, be happy for her, show her family she is working on HER OWN addictions and her family will start to heal. She needs OA, Al-ANON, CODA and ACOA and a lot of therapy. Let go of being the perpertiual victim. Though sick and flawed her mom did the best she could i’m sure. The disease was just too strong.
 
I’m glad her mum is getting better and in recovery. It was a good move for Tammie to take her under her wing.

Good to see Hamber is making this about herself. I get she hasn’t had a relationship with her but she didn’t make an effort to contact her when she found out she had cancer in jail. The woman needs to heal and sort herself out.

Does anyone know if her dad is sober and if Amber speaks to him?

I got a slew of community strikes in a matter of minutes so I privated all of my uploads. Looking into downloading them onto another platform, but I'm really not sure how to go about this so if anyone has some advice please inbox me.

I'm uploading it to another website, will post here when finished. It was basically a lot of crying about her mother not being there for her throughout life. She also read us the messages she sent to her mom over facebook, they read like diary entries. Saying she hates the feeling of not having a mother and hopes that ends soon, shit like that.
 
Never really said this before but you're the real MVP.

Fat dumbass was happy for you to upload her YouNows at first. "Get that money boo!" despite you never monetizing a thing. When she doesn't like the narrative? She marches the sock army against you.

I don't know what your situation is like but if you need help with uploads contact Null, I feel pretty confident he'll be happy to help since she's trying to throttle content.

I firmly believe that Al is not going to get better unless she let's go of her ridiculous victim complex. When you're a kid or a teenager and something fucked up happens to you it's understandable to be bitter, but once you're an adult you gotta start letting that shit go. Sure you might still be traumatized for a long time and will have moments when you're at your weakest, whining about how unfair everything is... but fucked up shit happens to everyone

The difference between being a traumatized kid and a traumatized adult is realizing that, and using that perspective to say "if these people can come out fine then I can too." She won't get better until she let's go of this "I had the worst childhood in the world, pity me" victim complex, expecting to live off other people for the rest of her life
