A big dump in the economy will stop Trump from getting re-elected. Whichever socialist the left puts up will take advantage of the collapsing economy to implement draconian bullshit FDR would have been proud of. The country will either be well on its way to socialism or collapse. Either way I'm hoping it means gold and crypto go boom and I watch it all from an island somewhere far enough away mai tai in hand.

Or trump gets one more 4 year stint and the cuckservatives are content not realizing it was the last gasp they'll ever see again since the demographic shift is well past the point of no return. Fucked either way, merry xmas!
 
We have a thread for just 2020, so I will take my post from that thread and update it a bit then add some for further into the decade.

So I have spent some time thinking about this and decided to break things up into categories.

2020 Election/Politics
  • I am still 50/50 on if Trump wins re-election, from my perspective it could still go either way
  • What I think the democratic ticket will be
    • Biden - Warren
    • Biden - Buttigeig (I think this is more likely)
    • Warren - Biden
    • Warren - Hillary
    • Warren - Buttigeig
    • Biden - Harris
  • More Political Sperging
  • A major mass shooting around the time of the election that will be politically motivated
  • Hillary involves herself in the election in some way
  • Dems in the House keep pushing for an impeachment trial in the Senate. If the senate has a trial Trump is not convicted or removed from office
  • An Antifa member finally kills someone in a very public undeniable way (in the tense lead up to the election or as a result of a Trump victory which I am still unsure of)
  • Anyone who doesn’t tow the dem party line will be called a Russian asset. As a form of McCarthyism by dems to root out descent against the establishment (this is already being done)
  • Dem's are going to try everything to prevent a 2nd term for Trump, from gibs to appealing to every minor group to attacking their own moderate members
World Events
  • Iran continues to attack the oil industry in the Middle East (attacking or seizing ships, attacking oil facilities, etc)
  • Syrian Civil War continues but gets closer to ending with an Assad victory
  • Islamic Terror returns to Europe (all these prisons in Syria where members of ISIS are being held being abandoned with them escaping creates an opportunity for them to go to Europe)
  • China continues its slow rise
  • Another economic downturn in the 2nd half of 2020 or early 2021
  • More mass shootings
  • UK will not Brexit and will find a way to stay in the EU for another year
  • Libya becomes the new Syria in terms for foreign attention to a civil war.
  • 2020v Olympics are a Weebs wet dream but still boring
The Internet
  • Mass censorship or banning in the lead up to the 2020 election of center and right leaning people on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and other sites
  • People go after and try to shut down DLive. I’m not sure how DLive will respond
  • Bitchute is deindex from yandex, and there is a good chance it is shut down because of its image and content.
  • An E-celeb kills someone
  • YouTube continues its move toward becoming traditional cable/tv
  • An e-celeb is killed by a fan (some crazy person goes after some shit e-celeb for whatever reason)
  • More e-celebs get cancelled
Media
  • Crusader Kings 3 comes out and it is awful. Paradox eventually releases hundreds of dollars worth of DLC. A Deus Vult mod is created and Paradox pushes updates that break it when the mod updates.
  • More woke
  • More superheroes
  • More Streaming Services
  • Netflix loses more shows/movies to other streaming sites
  • E3 is once again a massive disappointment
Lolcows
  • Barb Will Die or have a major health scare requiring a hospital stay (actually being admitted)
  • Weeb wars will continue well into next year. If Vic wins appeal he won’t get money nor will he get his career back. If he losses appeal we see a victory lap bigger than the one from a October and in late 2020/early 2021 we see them go after another (probably either Todd Habekorn, Johnny Yong Bosch or Chuck Huber [most likely Chuck Huber] )
  • Boogie stops uploading to his travel channel
  • Carl grows more smug in the lead up to the 2020 election (his channel might see a small spike before getting banned on youtube)
  • Carl, Styx, Dancula, Tim Poll, and Quatering get banned from youtube in the lead up to the 2020 election
  • Yaniv tried to raise money on a go fund me for legal fees
  • Briana Wu doesn’t get elected
  • A tranny with a thread kills themself
  • a fat cow dies (I would say Chantal but I don't think Bibi is that lucky or her health is that bad)
  • Amberlynn Reid is finally diagnosed with the beetus (I don't pay attention to her and it is even clear to me that it is only a matter of time)
  • If Trump wins a (most likely fat) cow with TDS has a heart attack from rage between election night and January 1st. (maybe Tony Goldmark or MovieBob)
Other
  • People make it even harder for Null to run the farms
  • The farms gets de-indexed again in the lead up to the 2020 election
  • A furry gets caught fucking an animal (preferably at a furry convention)


Not mentioned and further beyond 2020 (categorized, in the order I thought of them)
  • no matter who wins there are riots and spergouts after election night in 2020 and on inauguration day 2021
  • Republicans fail in trying to find a replacement for Trump in 2024 leading to a Dem Victory in 2024 (This will happen if Trump wins or loses)
  • Jimmy Carter Dies in 2020 or 2021 (he is a 95 year old man constantly in and out of the hospital)
  • China continues their rise (by 2030 they are on par or slightly below the US)
  • Syrian Civil War ends with Victory for Assad
  • Turkey is kicked from NATO
  • Erdogan stays in power in Turkey until he dies
  • North Korea makes an ICBM with enough range and small enough nuke to go on top to be able to threaten the US East coast and possibly Western Europe
  • Russia Annexes Belarus and possibly Kazakhstan by 2030
  • Boogie Dies
  • e-celebs end up having to get real jobs (a mop at Walmart is calling your name Spoony)
  • SpaceX sends cargo to Mars at the end of the Decade (no crewed missions until the 2030s)
  • YouTube stops allowing normal people to upload thus making YouTube for corporations only. We see more "creator" streaming services like Floatplane, Nebula and what Armchair Historian is doing
  • VR Vacations (with the rise of VR and with younger generations having less money we will see the rise of full on VR vacations where you can buy something for $100 that simulates your entire vacation to a certain location, Disney hops on this early for their parks)
  • a fully self driving car becomes available by 2030 (not the current Tesla Autopilot that still requires human attention and can only be used in certain situations, a full on point a to point b no human interaction needed self driving vehicle)
  • Human interaction AI in sex dolls
  • Queen Elizabeth Dies
  • Sears finally shuts down
  • a major retailer goes out of bushiness
  • A fully automated fast food restaurant is tested
  • China lands a human on the moon
  • Null can no longer keep the farms up and eventually changes his name and tries living a normal life
  • Chris is homeless or involuntarily committed
  • Cyberpunk 2077 will get glowing reviews from critics but in reality be slightly above average
  • Barb is dead by 2025
  • 2000s nostalgia and reboots or revivals of shows from that era
  • A prominent tranny stops identifying as trans and becomes an anti-trans activist
  • China brings in Military Force to stomp out HK protests
  • Chinese owned US companies begin censoring content
  • 4chan is shut down forever
  • Something Awful is shut down forever
  • Gab goes down and Torba kills himself after investors file lawsuits
  • Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Clarence Thomas and Stephen Breyer all die possibly causing a fare more liberal Supreme Court
  • Buzzfeed goes down but their news site remains
  • Vice closes down
  • Quinton Reviews Troons out
  • Tensions in East Asia stop short of a shooting war between the US and China but still remain tense
  • Japan Re-Militarizes and drops Article 9 to counter China
I know it is alot but it will be a long decade and there will be alot of change within it.

Something else I've thought about before: we're gonna see the end of neon sign production in the 2020s. RGB LEDs are just way more power efficient and versatile, so enjoy the neon lights around your town while you can. Once they die, they'll most likely get replaced with LEDs.

This year is the 100 year anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution which gave woman the right to vote. So this year will have even crazier feminist antics as woman pat each other on the back for gaming the system. Getting to vote without having to register for the draft.

Lorne Michaels will die and take Saturday night live with him.

Mixer went out of business.
One of their former top streamers is now driving for doordash and partnering with cat ladies selling homemade soap.
Many others learned they weren't actually famous at all, Microsoft was just running a money laundering operation and tried to make it look legit.
