my first exposure to chris was from 4chan's /v/. I've been hooked ever since about 2 years ago and check for updates nearly every morning.

I've listened to the father call, and regularly look for more information on this character. After listening to the father call and many other conversations with other...characters, I feel chris has made me a better person overall

A thread on Newgrounds, "Chris Chan is in trouble again" so I was like "Okay, I know I've heard this name before. Why is this thread so popular?" in my head. And decided to check it out.

I had no idea just how deep the rabbit hole went. What I saw was pretty hard to believe, a grown ass man(?) wearing purple sunglasses indoors, macing some guy after declaring "Dont. Call. Anybody!" in a voice reminiscent of an old woman. I did a double and triple take, wtf was I watching?

So I did some research, and over about 6 months came to knew everything (just about) that Chris has ever posted online, or was otherwise stolen from him and posted online. It was absolutely fascinating. And one guy in the thread put it best: "His life went from dark comedy to tragedy." And he's right.

The Legend of Christian Weston Chandler has always been, at the center, a drama on scale with the greatest of Greek tragedies.

I honestly don't quite remember exactly how I found the wiki, but I browsed that bitch for a few months. Then I got curious enough to click on the forum link. The rest is history

Someone I know was subtly making of bronies by saying "Chris-chan likes My Little Pony" but I didn't get it because I didn't know who Chris-chan was.

Later on, I wondered who this famous person was who liked My Little Pony, so I googled "Chris Chan". I didn't find much about ponies, but I discovered a lot of other really crazy shit.

It was 2011 or maybe 2012, I found the wiki after insomnia and typing in the keywords into Google "Weird crazy autistic stunts", no joke, I was redirected through some links to the CWCwiki, stayed up until like 4 or 5 reading the shenanigans of Chris's life and could not turn away

Back in the ED days; mid-2008ish. I was in the military at the time, laid up in hospital for a few months - didn't have much to do, so I spent a lot of time browsing ED on my phone, and I distinctly recall seeing the Sonichu page, thinking "My god, this is the greatest thing ever". I lost track of him by 2009, but reconnected with the Sonichu fandom around 2013.

Glad to see he's still going strong.

I was on the Sonic Forums, and saw a thread titled "The Ultimate Sonic Plagiarism that is Sonichu", with the infamous first issue cover image in the thread. I found the ED page not soon afterwards...

Not too long before Bob died a friend of mine compared a douchebag we both know to Chris* and I was like "Who's Chris-Chan?" He was astounded I'd never heard of Chris and remedied this.

And that's how I spent all my free time one weekend reading as much of the CWCki as I could.

*unfortunately the douche isn't really a lolcow, just your standard issue smug hyper-religious asshole who wrote Chris-level stories.
