Your first exposure to Chris

My first exposure to Chris was when I found a video of him that someone uploaded to The Cringe Channel during the fall / winter of 2013. It was the one in which he was making out with a blow-up doll while listening to "California Girls." Eventually I stumbled upon more of his videos as well as the Cwcki. So, I basically missed most of the CWC saga since he stopped making videos, but the Cwcki filled me in on pretty much everything.

My first exposure was watching a Linkara video where he lists all the comics that he refuses to review, and Sonichu happened to be one of them. (The number one spot actually, if I remember correctly.) I looked it up sometime later.

I don't know if this speaks poorly of me or not, but one day I was on another message board and I was having a bad day and said I just felt so pathetic sometimes (you know, we all have those days), and someone said, it's okay, you're fine. And then she posted, "it could be a LOT worse: google Christian Weston Chandler". And it kind of went from there.

That's more or less how I first heard about Chris. Except it was through an old friend from high school. First genuine exposure came when I read his ED article. Wanting to find more information about this amazing specimen, I followed a couple threads on various forums and eventually found my way to the Cwcville Library YouTube account where all of his vids were archived. The comments as well as Chris himself mentioned the CWCki a few times, and I ended up finding the CWCki, where most of my questions were answered.

All on my own.
Was skimming ED, not sure whether it was a hate site, or just bad satire.
I then clicked on the "autism" article, which had a link of Chris on it.

My first exposure to Chris (or Sonichu) was through Linkara's video where he reviewed the first Sonichu comic. I wouldn't actually discover Chris himself until a year later when going through the Sonichu article at ED.

A few months back...getting on a year...someone posted some adf shit in a forum i frequented. I stumbled on to the video of tomgirl chris shit talking him, and i was very fucking confused. I dug deeper.

I am still digging.

Mine would have to be a year ago when a friend sent me a link of him screaming about people stealing his medallion. It fascinated me, as well as made me very confused. *sigh*

Around last Christmas, a writer friend of mine told me about Sonichu and how I should never google it up. Welp, curiousity got the better of me...

Honestly, telling someone about Chris and then telling the guy to never look him up almost guarantees that the person will look him up sooner or later.

I had heard about him a lot in 2009 from other people on the internet but never bothered to look him up myself until mid 2010. The first video I saw of his was the one where he was upset about people depicting Sonichu as gay and drawing Rosechu with a penis. I was in a computer class and when it got to the part where he screamed into the camera I couldn't help but to laugh out loud.

I found him when I was lurking back in the Something Awful forums circa 2008 :sonichu::medallion::sonichu:. There was a link to his ED page and I have been hooked even since. I knew he was something amazing when I saw a link of his sex tape :pickle::popcorn::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I saw a video about him by a youtuber named Hellsing920 who mentioned his pants shitting, his Sonichu comics, and him dry humping his PS3 and posted a link to the cwcki... my life hasn't been the same since.

2007/08 I was pretty much drunk and depressed and sitting around hitting random page on ED all night every night and found him then. Cut to a couple years later and I'm sober and less depressed and living with my husbro-to-be and show him the cwcki for laughs. I got obsessed and read it in its entirety over the next few days. Haven't missed an update since then. I reread the cwcki like a well loved book when I'm bored

Mine was in 2007, I went down some rabbit hole on ED and found him. I became more obsessed than I care to admit, especially since I'm just a hair older than him and don't have any excuses for my fascination with him really. heh. I've held on through all of the twists and turns, listened to all of the audiobooks and phone calls during crunch time at studios that have long closed down, and yet he's still here, sure as the sun will rise. Bless his 90% shattered heart.

Though I'd seen Chris mentioned a couple of times on the Something Awful forums and a couple of other places, my first major exposure to him was through the Autism Tutorial. I then did some further googling in order to make some sense of why Chucky from Rugrats was ranting about some woman called Mary Lee Walsh and hoping a game shop in Virginia burned to the ground and, well, here we are.

I found him through TV Tropes. I found a link to Sonichu through the "So Bad It's Horrible" page, and soon found myself gazing upon the seamen gulping horror.

To be honest, I'm not too sure, but I'm convinced it was through a review of Sonichu.
This one, in fact:
