Your first exposure to Chris

I found his page on ED when I was in college and read it for a while, and then forgot about him. I then rediscovered him in 2011, I think in March, and have been actively reading ever since.

I think my boyfriend actually linked him to me, like one of his tardrage videos or something? But it wasn't until a year later I found the audiobooks and fell further into the pit from there haha

I first found Chris on Something Awful way back in the end of 2007. It's just so interesting how much of a trainwreak one person could be. :tomgirl:

In I think, 2009 someone told me about him. But at first I assumed the person telling me was talking about one of those Youtube "characters" like Fred or whatever. But probably a month later I found the ED page and thought, "Oh my god that guy was right". It just sounded too good to be true, I thought it had to be some gag, but I was wrong.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy, this thread again! :D

In all seriousness, ED was my first exposure to Chris. :3

It was on the DeviantArt website, while checking out comments about one of the worst fanfics ever, "Naruto Veangance Revelaitons", as well as its author. I found an image link: http://chrischanplz.deviantart.com/

And then I searched more about him.

My sister mentioned something about him a few years ago, she was rather offended by his use of his Autism as a crutch because she actually has Asperger's
Syndrome. I didn't think anything of it, until my sister again brought him to my attention, where I immediately decided that he was easy prey for trolling. I have been keeping up with his epic saga ever since

I can hardly remember, I think it was either finding him on ED or in the related videos section for his ,"I am not Ian Brandon Something!" video. I think it was the latter. I think this was at the end of the Liquid Saga when I came in.

Back in 2010/11 listening to prank calls to Richard Kuta where a Chris soundboard was used. A little research later and here we are.

I'm actually having a hard time remembering, oddly enough. I believe I heard him mentioned on reddit. Had never heard of him an no one was explaining him so I did a youtube search and naturally was even more confused. First video I saw was him humping the PS3, so I didn't know what the fuck that was about. Next was the "Christian explains it all video" with the navy talk.

Finally after a google search I found the Cwcki around september of last year or so. I'm pretty new to this

My first exposure to Chris was an odd one. One of my friends asked me if I had ever heard of Sonichu and sent me a link to Spazkids, Sonichu: the animated series. I loved every minute of it. A quick google search of Sonichu led me to the CWCki and here I am.

The Youtuber known as "BigAl2k6" had a response to someone who was calling out all of the trolls and was white knighting Chris. BigAl's videos led me to the CWCki, I read about the Father Call, and was hooked like a crack addict ever since. *yawn* :stupid:

Indigo told me about Chris while we were waiting to go to sleep during a sleepover. We were talking about TwisterFeindish on deviantart before that, and then she asked if I had ever heard of Chris-Chan and Sonichu.

Late August/early September 2010...I think.

I was searching on the internet for stuff related to Charlottesville when suddenly: hey - that's Fashion Square Mall and the Wendy's a couple of miles from my house! Why are pictures of Ruckersville all over the internet? Somehow I found a link to the Cwcki and read with interest about Charlottesville's most embarrassing resident. The rest, they say, is history.

It's funny because I attended PVCC around the time that Chris was there (just before being suspended), and I even lived in Chesterfield county when Chris was there (albeit in a different part of the county than the Chandlers. I didn't attend Manchester). But for whatever reason, I don't remember ever running into the man-child.

I dont remember the year, but it was a long time ago. I by chance saw one of the Sonichu TAS episodes and that linked me to one of his videos. I saw them, loled a lot and I thought he was a internet comedian (really). Some weeks later i saw him on ED and i knew then that i was wrong.

ED's Article of the Now in late 2008. I hung around the talk page until PVCC's first incarnation came up.

I'm hooked for life. Chris is a super-addictive, mind-altering substance.

I randomly found Encylopedia Dramatica, maybe three years ago. I ended up spending hours reading about general internet faily-type people, and Chris's article resonated the most. I ended up reading about him every few months to see if something new happened. I don't know why, but this guy is just a hugely compelling figure. You can find more about Chris online than just about any U.S. President, for crying out loud!

I remember seeing his name in early 2012 when I used to frequent a forums. Did a bit of research and got to his FUTURE MESSAGE video. Thought that guy was rather fail. But I didn't give that so much thought before some Skype buddies started talking about him, around September or October of 2012 I think, and I got to his ED page and CWCki.

Such a shame I didn't hear about him before, during his 2009 gold age, for example. But I didn't use much Internet back then and I was young so I didn't think of fat old lesbians constantly like I do now. You winned my heart, Chrissy :tomgirl: :heart-full:
