Your first exposure to Chris

Ah crap. It's been so long that I almost forgot when I met him first. It was on a website with "curiosities" pictures from the web. It was the glorious original Chris-Chan picture with him looking child-like with his original clown shirt and his Sonichu medallion, sitting on his throne in the middle of his room-kingdom filled childish stuff. It was in 2008. One comment below the picture said "Chris-Chan!". I put it in Google and I was directed to the Cwcki. The rest is history. Damn... five years!
 
I was first exposed to Chris when I watched a commentary on his "Holding Out For a Hero" music video by RickyRay102.
 
I honestly can't remember, but I think one of my friends who likes trolling told me about him. I was curious and found the CWCki and started to read it. Can't remember how long ago that was though.

Even today, I still like going on there and looking up random articles regarding him and his life.
 
I believe my first exposure to Chris was around a year ago when I was listening to some YouTube rant about Sonic fanboys. The guy in the video mentioned CWC and showed a clip of him screaming to Liquid Chris. I looked up videos about him and found the "GOD AND THE BEAR" video. Then I found the CWCki, and everything else went from there.
 
As with most things I discover from the internet, I first stumbled upon Chris through a pic that was posted on Imgur. The amount of disgusted comments that were under the picture made me curious as to why he was generating such negativity. Someone told me to look up the infamous Fanta video and, after much searching, I found it. As disgusting and weird as it was, I still didn't get it. So I looked for more info and came across the CWCki. 2 years later, I am still reading things. At first I felt bad for him and commented something on Youtube to the effect of "Why are you guys so bothered by this individual when it's clear that he has problems" but as I read more and more on the CWCki and watched the videos on Youtube, it began to dawn on me that this is someone that has deeper and more serious issues. His parents were old and are hoarders, he was "abused" by a babysitter, he has a very unhealthy interest in sex, etc.

And there we are.

I was watching robot chicken videos on youtube, then, the top comment of the video about some nerd complaining about how robot chicken made the go-bots look like assholes talked about how the video was a parody of a real life nerd that complained about how robot chicken made the transformers look like assholes... so, i searched sonichu on google > sonichu on know your meme > sonichu un tvtropes > CWCki > and the rest explains for itself...
 
Random browsing on ED in 2012 (can't remember how I discovered ED), when I realized that a lot of pages linked to Chris-chan. Saw a large page, waited until I had some time and read the entire ED page, after which I discovered the CWCki.
 
I had just found a particularly dreadful artist on Deviantart who drew Sonic shit, and while telling someone about it they just said "Look up Christian Weston Chandler. You ain't seen NOTHIN yet!" I might have wound up on ED first, but I wasn't super interested until I looked up the CWCki.
 
I started following Chris' antics way back in autumn of 2008 when first ED picked him up. I distinctly remember driving home from a job I had back then and Googling "DYKES DYKES CHINA" on my old Blackberry while sitting at a red light. I've watched him off and on through ED and the Sonichu wiki ever since.
 
Linkara mentioned him. I didn't pay attention until I ran across an entry on TV tropes about the trial. When I found out about his treatment of Megan, I found the wiki. I try to get out but he keeps pulling me back in.
 
I got into Chris a few days before Bob died. :?
 
I was browsing ED, and the "Video of the Now" was one of the Christian and the Hedgehog Boys songs. I didn't look into it any further, thinking at the time that it was kinda shitty to make fun of something that was clearly done by a child. A little while later, at the start of the Jackie Saga I believe, I noticed various articles on ED made reference to this "Chris-Chan" fellow, and so I clicked on his name out of curiosity. I was quickly hooked by just how wrong this individual was - I did initially assume that he was some sort of trolling character, because nobody could be that messed up...

Same here, though I don't remember which saga was in progress when I found out about him. I can't remember the exact year. Then I lost interest in him for a while, and then one day last year I remembered and I was like "let's see what he's up to". I surfed the CWCki for a while, and then joined the forum when I got bored of the same ol' articles.
 
Sometime in late 2008/early 2009, I was in an IM chat with a high school friend who told me about an autistic manchild who "drew a comic book with the artistic ability of a kindergartner". I then plunged into his YouTube videos, then found the CWCki, then found PVCC, then went to uni (and thus was occupied for 4 years) and now here I am on the CWCki forums.

It's been quite an experience.
 
If I remember correctly, I first saw him from the asshole of the internet itself- 4Chan. It was a gif my cousin and his friends were watching (and were also making fun of me while doing so).

I didn't know about who the guy in the gif was until I went onto ED. And that's all I can recall.
