Kind of obvious, but: Chromeo, an electro-funk band out of Canada. I was laughing over a Game Grumps clip where they try to remember how a Chromeo song goes when I made my username.

Since then, other users have shown me their favorite Chromeo songs and told me all about how much they like Chromeo, and it's gotten me to listen to more of their music. I'm definitely not a #1 fangirl, but I gotta say, I'm glad I checked them out. The whole White Women album is pretty good (my profile picture is that album cover.) Jealous, Fall Back 2 U, and Old 45s are probably my favorite songs of theirs.

"(Name)VEVO" was the naming scheme for the official channels of musical artists and bands on YouTube for a long time back in the late 00's and into the mid to late 10's stemming from a partnership between YouTube and the major music labels. Despite the rise of things like YouTube Music and the automatically generated pages for musicians Vevo is apparently still a thing to this very day and according to Wikipedia they give out a very tacky award to bands whose music videos get "Vevo Certified".

I wanted my username to be "ChristianAndTheHedgehogBoysVEVO", referencing CWC's make believe band, however the name was too long so I shortened to to just "HedgehogBoysVEVO". This had the effect of leading people to believe my username is in reference to the parody group The Hedgehog Boys, however that's not the case as I believe my KF join date precedes the formation of that band. (Also apparently The Hedgehog Boys got mired in copyright troubles with their music and they've been erased from every platform I checked just now.)
