Interesting that this thread was bumped. I was about to bump it myself.

A Twitch stream I watch did a "Chris special" following the news of his arrest, apparently the host of the stream had also bought a medallion and a signed headshot at some point in the past and showed them on camera before playing a Sonic game. He owns #23 and it is also a Sonichu.

I don't have any pictures, I did not think to take a screenshot. If they post the videos to YouTube in the future I will grab them and post them here.

edit: It is worth noting that the streamer's medallion was apparently broken some time before it was sent out, as he makes a remark that the nose looks like it was glued back on at some point. I missed that the first time around when I was watching it live.

For some people, it's cool to own a piece of Christory, but personally, I wouldn't spend the money on one, I just have no use for it.
Chris offered free shipping eh? It's too bad he didn't get a lot of buyers from parts of the world where it's expensive to ship to, like Australia. It would be amusing to see him throw a bitch fit on Facebook about international buyers cutting into his profits.

I do not know. At one point Chris was offering a free B&W commission with each headshot (I think), so this may be one of them. That doesn't explain the frame however. The streamer doesn't talk about the frame in the YouTube video and I don't recall him bringing it up during the livestream. Are there any photos floating around of commissions that Chris framed himself? That would be a good barometer to measure this one against to see if the frames are the same.

As for the commission, and this is purely at the word of the streamer, he claims he only asked Chris to draw the dragon's head but left it up to Chris to draw the rest of the body if he felt like it. Chris drew the whole dragon instead. Part of me wants to call bullshit on that just because Chris generally takes the path of least resistance on everything, especially if this was one of the aforementioned B&W commissions. I just don't see Chris taking the initiative to put optional extra effort into something that was being included free.

I was really hoping to get a Sonichu medallion and some autographs for my friend for Christmas, we've always laughed at Chris's antics together. I emailed Chris about it a few days prior to the Boxing Day debacle, and sent him an eBay message on Boxing Day itself (unaware of the events unfolding in Chris's day)... no response *sigh* Kind of unsurprised given the circumstances though. I hope he has access to plenty of Crayola Model Magic in jail.

If he's open to random conversations about lewd sex acts and the genitalia of greater apes, do you reckon he'd be open to discussing his stance on feminism? Obviously not to try and extract sense from him, but ever since Chris has been a self-proclaimed Lesbian Of Female Soul I've kind of wanted to see him attempt some feminism that isn't "NEANDERTHAL THUGS". I just think the meeting of mansplaining and Chrisplaining would be hilarious.

Glad it wasn't just me laughing at his Note For Medallion maintenance. My girlfriend has been laughing almost non-stop at his answering service for a couple days, this must be how she feels.
 
I guess this is the place to post it:

I did secret santa on another forum, and decided to get my santee an official Chris Chan autographed photo. Since my santee was in Canada and Chris doesn't understand international shipping, I got a free pen drawing, too. I asked him for something photography related, since my santee was an amateur photographer.

It did arrive promptly a week after I ordered, and not in January, like I expected.

If that's really from memory, that's actually not too bad by Chris standards. He did sort of fuck up the shape of the cylinder, but unlike the cars he draws, the rectangular camera body is pretty much correct in the area of single-point perspective, and he's even got the little film advancement/winding lever up top and the markings on the lens. Maybe something from that photography class that produced the infamous "Week With Christian" project (or whatever it was called -- can't remember the exact name) actually stuck in his head. Not bad, Mr./Ms. Chan. Not bad.
